WOW! I have life long dairy allergies and recent celiac diagnosis and I am so happy with this bakery! Since Erin McKennas bakery closed in NYC I’ve been on a hunt for a bakery that meets my allergen needs as a lot of vegan bakeries are not also nut free or don’t offer gluten free baked goods. I was looking for an eggless cake for my daughter’s birthday since she has an allergy and sweet Avenue bake shop ticked all my needs. I ordered a vegan cake for her birthday and it was delicious. The sponge was so soft and fluffy like a regular egg cake. I was very impressed. Placing an online order along with all the details was very easy and hassle free. The shop is very small, but has everything that we need like cakes, pastries, cupcakes, and truffles.
