“If you are looking for GOOD NY style pizza, you need to try Nonno's. There are many pizzerias in the Clifton / Nutley area, but in my opinion the pizza here is one of the best I have had. Sauce is favourable. Cheese is good quality unlike some places where they fall off the moment you pick up the slice. Service is super friendly and accommodating. My wife and I got a bowl and we both loved it. If you are looking for a counter style Mediterranean place to eat this is a fantastic choice! All the food is made fresh. My wife ordered pita chips and falafel on the side and both were made fresh when we ordered. The pita chips were thick and super crispy. The falafel was incredibly moist too. Highly recommend!“

“Went this evening to try this new place as I was graving some shawarma. Had a beef shawarma that came with olives and pickles. Flavor was very authentic Middle Eastern in both the shawarma and pickles. I also had their fattoush which was very good. 2 people can easily be served from both the shawarma and fattoush! “This place is amazing! I have celiac disease and have a hard time finding safe places to eat. I had the gluten free chicken tender platter and chocolate chip cookies, which were both unbelievable. The wait staff was incredibly kind and attentive and explained that everything was prepared separately using a dedicated fryer. My gluten consuming family also loved their food. My husband said it was the best pastrami he’s ever had and my son had an “extra cheesy” grilled cheese. The owner visited our table and introduced himself. Cannot recommend this place enough!“

“I usually don’t write reviews, but I am making an exception for this one just because the guy working there was super kind and respectful about the situation. My friend made a togo pickup on the app and we waited about 15 minutes for his food, and he still didn’t get it, so he went up to the counter just to find out that his order was already ready, the guy working there apologized and explained that he didn’t put it on the pick up shelf because people would usually go in and grab the bag( they probably though that way because when we entered my togo bag was on the shelf, so I grabbed it). He also gave my friend a free drink to compensate for it. I really loved how he handled the situation and was very apologetic about it, so it felt less uncomfortable eating inside the store. Aside from this the food tasted amazing and the portion size was filling.“
