“Great cocktail bar… martinis… negronis… top shelf! Wine??? Meh… chintzy pour of just average wines…$14!for a 4 oince pour of a “ Super Tuscan” ? Steer clear… not worth it.
Food… tomato sauce is top shelf… but if you are featuring your sauce and you fill a dish surrounding 2 small pieces of eggplant( which was cooked perfectly BTW) you need to provide some BREAD for dipping… not everyone likes garlic bread ( at $10) avoid the “ wood fired” artichokes… they are “ canned” and nothing special at $14! The Short rib plate with butternut squash is amazing… a little on the sweet side… but something special for sure.
The Meatballs…. Ypu can make better at home small orbs of deep fried beef… very little flavor very crunchy…. Not a good choice!!! Food is a mixed bag… some good… some not so good… we will return for the cocktails…. Wine? No way!!! Meatballs??? Eat a tennis ball!! Artichokes??? Make them yourself at home! Music is WAY too loud…. Pretty pricey tab for 7’out of 10 food. Pizza was made with top shelf ingredients but bottom crust was “ flubbery” needed a few minutes in a hot pan. This place is among the best choices for cocktails in Sayreville… but needs work to be worth multiple“

“** Stopped in today while I was out running errands to pick up a slice of their delicious Sicilian to go. I have to say it's the first time that I'm disappointed. An elderly man was pulling the slice with his bare hands onto a plate to put in a bag and then took my cash and gave me change and bills back. I wish he would have worn gloves if he's going to be touching money and then touching the pizza I'm going to be eating.**
Everything is delish from the drinks, appetizers, dinners, desserts! The best bloody mary's, clams casino, appetizer and the prime rib entree melts like butter, the mashed potatoes and gravy are amazing, and I usually don't like mashed. The tortoni dessert is delish, and the cappuccino too ! And if you want pizza, I suggest the Sicilian slice it's great !“

“8/8/25 - There's a pizza shop in Parlin, NJ called Pizza Heaven. I took my son there about 15 years ago. The pizza was pretty good but the place was a complete dump. Worn out dining area. Dirty tables. And the deathknell, it was completely empty. \n\nFast forward to 2025.... the place has a new owner and a brand new dining area. And it's wonderful! The pizza is in the neopolitan style. It's crispy and flavorful. The cheese tastes premium. Great sauce. The sausage is not cut-rate. They have completely turned this place around. And the dining room had a lot of people in it enjoying the food. If you are in the Parlin area, it's definitely worth your time. \n\nSo my daughter told me that I need to start rating these places. I hesitate to do so because I dont want to be compared to that other guy who in my opinion is a complete nasal drip. I review places for one reason.... out of love for the products. I love stadiums. I love arenas. And most of all, I love food. So I'm not doing this for clicks but to give my friends and family a roadmap of places to visit and my experiences with these places. \n\nSo Pizza Heaven gets a solid B+“

“I had my daughter’s College Graduation Party on Saturday, June 3rd and had the food catered from Santino’s in Parlin. EVERYTHING was outstanding! We had about 60 people and there was not one complaint. They make the BEST Penne Alla Vodka, Meatballs, Chicken Francaise and Eggplant Parm ever! Ever one of my 60+ guests commented on how delicious the food was! And the staff was wonderful, friendly, accommodating and helpful from placing the order to pick up! I highly recommend them!
