Shortly after I left, both pizza and salad flipped over and fell in my car. I was very upset. I turned around and went back to Blaze. “I just had 30 burgers yesterday, Saturday (3/9/24). I ordered the El Paso which was AMAZING. I had never been at the location before so I had asked the cashier: Chelsea to recommend me a burger. I loved the service, she checked on me plenty of times while I was eating my food. Everything was just outstanding. “The two gentlemen behind the counter were very pleasant. They have a decent menu selection. For the most part, it does not matter if you get a half or a whole sub because you’re not getting a deal by getting the whole sub. Example: most half subs are $7.99 whereas the whole sub is $15.99. There are a few where the whole sub gives you a $.50 savings. Today I did get a cheesesteak with extra provolone cheese, onions, hot peppers and a special hot sauce that they make. I’m glad I got the extra cheese because it definitely needed that and the condiments that were on there were very good. The meat itself didn’t taste like anything special but it wasn’t bad. It seems all of their cold cuts are Thummann’s which is high-quality. I do believe that the cheesesteak sub needed more meat. The meat itself did not even cover the bread end to end. One one end of the sub there was nothing but the bread by about 1.5” and 2” of nothing at the other end. So about 3.5 inches of the 16 inch sub was just bread. In all reality, I believe you are better off going with a half cheesesteak and double everything so you get a full sandwich with half of the bread. I cannot speak for any other sandwich as this is the first time I was there and the only item that I did purchase, as far as the entrée goes. I did get a small thing of potato salad, which was some store-bought stuff just scooped into little containers that was just meh. My meal of a cheesesteak, small potato salad and a Diet Coke can came to just over $20.“

We ordered the hummus, chicken chapli and beef chapli with qabuli palow (traditional rice with carrots and raisins). It’s so favorable and so fresh. “During my commute back from New Brunswick on April 1st, I stopped by White Rose Hamburgers for a meal, despite the day’s drizzle. As I arrived around 10:30 AM, the diner was barely busy. The parking lot had only a couple cars: If I had driven here then would have been ample space. From the outside, the place looked considerably plain, for a Manno-produced dining car (it was likely bricked with stucco)---the interior, in which clean stools and countertops lined the walls, was not much different, though there was a plethora of mid-late 1900s memorabilia for decoration. As soon I walked in, the two staff manning the counter and grill asked what I wanted; there were many regulars who already knew, though I wasn't one of them.I ordered a large coffee, Cali cheeseburger, and fries, which cost ~$15. I took a seat at the main counter (only 2 seats there), and only a couple minutes afterward was my meal ready. The coffee was standard, but the burger and fries are to die for---this burger is the type that melts beautifully. The meat synthesizes with the rest of the ingredients to create a harmonious sensation of flavor with each bite, equally juicy and savory in tandem with sour sweetness. The fries were especially crispy, with an audible crunch in each bite; their only downside was the amount of salt I put on them. Though pricy, it is impossible to go wrong with burger and fries at White Rose.“
“Checked it out because of the high rating on Google. I got the chopped cheese meal (fries & soda) with a fried Chicken drumstick on the side. Only $12.93 for everything! The chopped cheese was awesome, fully loaded texture and flavor bomb on a toasted Italian roll. It took only about 5 minutes to make. The chicken was seasoned nice and was super juicy on the inside yet golden crispy on the outside. I was stoked to try the fries next because there was enough for a family and golden in color. Sadly they were soggy, not fried nearly as long as they should have been and lacked salt. I ate just a few both with and without ketchup and tossed them. This small trendy looking corner store had a couple display cases with mainly fried chicken and desserts offered as grab-n-go. There were 2 thin tables to stand at and eat if desired and quiet with one chef and one cashier. Friendly staff though with great recommendations.Parking: Street parking already taken. That aside, I go into the line, there’s one person ahead of me and the guy helping the customer in front of me makes eye contact and tells he’ll be there to help me in just a moment since he was helping someone else. Great service even when busy. But he didn’t need to because Luis came in and with a smile asked me what he could get for. “Kind of lived at the terrific White Castle restaurant on Route 22 in Union, NJ for 4-5 days during the summer of 09. Was between places to live and myself and my two trusty dogs would pull into the White Castle around ten or eleven at night, and I would get a cup of the fabulous White Castle coffee for myself and a couple of White Castles for my two traveling companions, and we would find a spot in the rear of the parking lot, and that was our stay for the night. Slept intermittently off and on, and the next morning we would be on our way to the public library on Morris Avenue in Union, NJ to hit craigslist on the computer to find our next domicile. Finally found a place in Milford, Pa across the Delaware River. A policeman would usually ride through the White Castle parking lot at night at about 2-3 o'clock in the morning. Usually tried to alternate parking spaces, but we were never questioned. I suppose the policeman thought we were really good customers, ha. Ahh . . . how I wish those dear days were back. For all of you fuddy duddies, sitting home, being bored, being a couch potato in the living room of your paid-off mortgage, suburban home, you ought to give it a try. There is nothing quite like the gypsy life, and I'll forever be grateful and a faithful customer to White Castle for being a part of it. As Bob Hope used to say, "Thanks for the Memories" . . . .“
