“Guys, I stopped in yesterday to check the place out. I got to speak to Angie, one of the owners and I purchased a piece of Carrot Cake to take home. I had to take a bite the second I left the store. Just a taste. OMG! It was the best Carrot Cake that I ever had! So moist and full of flavor! I was very impressed. Sadly ... that piece of carrot cake barely made it to my car let alone back to my house! And you know what ... Not only was that carrot cake awesome, it was GLUTEN FREE. Now to put things into perspective for you all ... I own Ahrre's Coffee Roastery (Westfield & Summit) and -- way back in the 90's -- I owned the Common Ground Cafe in Summit. I have sampled cheese cake from countless commercial bakeries over the years. It was always my favorite type of cake and the ruler by which I judged the bakery. Taste Buddy is legit, folks! CHECK 'EM OUT!“

“The desserts and coffee at Pastry Lu are absolutely delicious and high quality. Over Thanksgiving, I enjoyed their apple pie which was magnificent and addictive. They always welcome you with a polite smile and when you look at all their desserts and pastries, you have to take your time because it’s hard to choose. You owe it to yourself to sit and eat your tasty delight there. They present your food and coffee in a beautiful wooden tray. It’s elegant and relaxing. I sat there today and felt as if I was in a European café. I had the strawberry cheesecake which was divine and the Mighty Mocha Hot Chocolate (a combo of coffee and hot chocolate). I added whip cream and fell in love with it. I’ll be going back. I had to refrain from getting two in a row. But this place is worth any extra holiday calories. I adore this bakery and am happy it’s in town. Also a great place to get a coffee or pastry on your way to the train since it’s right by NJ Transit. It’s perfect.“

“This bakery is an excellent addition to Westfield. It is something unique and different from other bakeries in the area. The products are much more refined than other establishments and on par with deserts, which you would find at a celebrity chef's restaurant, minus the cost. I find the cookies delicious and better tasting than any other I have seen around town, and the service is impeccable. The bakery is inviting, clean, and nostalgic for old-school charm. “First time at Frappe Joe and it was soooo good the coffee was amazing. I got a turkey bacon egg and cheese bagel and omg just so good!! And their Raspberry Crumbcake. And I believe the owner who helped me bc I looked so lost was soo nice to me and figured out my coffee order and everything. Super nice staff and good food, coffee and pastry!“

Muscles, tuna tartare, noodle flush, brussel sprouts, calamari salad, and more! All yum! Would absolutely go there again. We had 8-10 people and the service was excellent.“

“The food at Dolce is amazing. The problem is trying to pick a favorite. Penne Vodka, Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp or Shrimp Francese. All equally delicious. Dolce catered our school event last night and everything was perfect. The food was hot, Chicken Parm was so tender, Pasta was cooked perfectly. John and staff are always super friendly. We love Joyce! Highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Make no mistake, this is 5-star pizza. Get a few “personal” pizzas for variety: a cheese, a white, and maybe a mushroom or pepperoni - well done. Absolutely the best in Somerset area. If you stop there for lunch, their slices are quite big, you only need 1. And the chicken fingers are a MUST. We just love Amici’s. I recommend calling them directly and pick up, or ask for delivery. “My team had a lunch booked today and stepping into L’Allegria was a beautiful surprise. I booked the restaurant based on the menu and ratings, plus parking looked easy. Without planning it we had a private room where we could celebrate the departure of one of our colleagues. Alana took great care of us and the food was delicious and well executed. Temperatures were perfect on the food too. The zucchini blossoms and homemade gnocchi were the best I’ve had in YEARS. The chef and restaurant team are to be commended. Both times I didn’t realize until I got home. Normally, this wouldn’t be a big deal however they charge you an extra $.50 for it so now I’ve paid for it twice and haven’t received it at all.“

“my review is for the amazing pepperoni slice I just grabbed for lunch. it had a crispy, thin crust with no flop. the sauce was a nice balance of sweet and tangy. the cheese was not excessive, and the pepperoni wasn’t too greasy. I added pepper flakes and oregano because that’s how I like my pizza, but it would be perfectly delicious without it.“

“Decided to try here out when I was in the area, and boy was I happy!!! The cake was so fresh and you could tell it was baked with love. The owner was very personable and took time to answer all my questions. It was close to closing time and the shelves were nearly empty which to me is a great sign, people must love it here. “We arrived on Halloween night and were delighted with the service and the pizza. Much better than other popular pizzerias, this pizza is delicious. Very good flavor, nothing cloying.?They treated us very attentively, they didn't make us wait any time, the atmosphere outside and inside was very pleasant, (and Cranford is a very nice little town, I love it too) The bathroom was very clean, sweets Halloween?well, everything is excellent. We arrived with my dog ​​and they also treated her very well by asking for water for her. “Been coming here for almost a year and got to share our thoughts on the food. We live in Basking Ridge and we travel here for their food because it's just that good. The pizza slices are huge (compared to other places) and they're very tasty and chocked full of whatever you ordered on them. We usually go late weekends for a late dinner or to buy for the next day.

Besides the food if you're lucky to have Malcom at the counter you're in for a great experience! He was there on our first visit and he was great! He explained the different slices available and even made recommendations of what to try first or what... Most places will tell you all is good and push whatever they have left but not Malcom - great customer service! Because of the pizzas and quite frankly Malcom's personality of welcoming and appreciating us as customers we usually go at least once a month if not more.

We've now tried at least 2/3rd of the pizzas and most of them have become favs so we have to resort to alternating our choices. The times that we go and there's no Malcom we're left with the quintessential pizza slingers or worst! For us, Malcom makes the trip worthwhile!

“Updating my review from 3 to 4 stars. I tried it again a year later and the pizza was great. Vegan cheese was melty and the crust was puffy. I was really satisfied and I like their unique pizza styles and the number of vegan options. There's definitely an improvement compared to last year. I haven't tried the vegan wings again though (that was the worst taste ever). I will return for more pizza! Updated from previous review on 2024-12-18“
