“This was the first time we had just an average experience. I was taking a friend out to celebrate her birthday because we always love the excellent service and food. Yesterday things worked out in the end (through a manager) but several negative things occurred. For one thing, the filet mignon/lobster tail combination was not cooked properly. One order was for “medium” and it was totally rare. Had to get manager because server was busy bartending and waitressing. The manager took the meat back and had it recooked. Also, the lobster tail was extremely tiny. We have had this dish before, and the tail was always small but not tiny small. Ok, so now I am eating by myself while my friend is waiting for her dinner. BTW! It came out very rare again. The manager offered my friend a soup or salad so she could eat something while waiting. The Caesar salad was chosen. The croutons were stale. A new piece of meat was cooked up...finally to perfection. Took three tries! The birthday desserts were delicious and the chicken pesto appetizer was perfect. We do not think the service was up to par since we have always had such friendly servers. Another waitress came out to us because we felt like she was avoiding us. As I said, it worked out because the meals were taken care of, but i hope we do not experience this again. Seasons 52 has been one of my favorite restaurant and of course, I will give it another try!“

“if you like good food this is the place to go. We had a little bit of everything. Highly recommend the cheese and meat board and the gnocchi is amazing. The winner of the night was the tuna and don't skip dessert. We will come back.“

“This is hands down the best restaurant in NJ right now. The 8 course tasting menu is phenomenal, each dish balanced with unique flavors and texture, and beautiful plated. Our server explained each dish in detail, was extremely knowledgeable of the ingredients and dishes, and very friendly. He consistently topped off our drinks as needed and meticulously provided a new place setting for each course. The ambiance was very relaxing as we sat on the 2nd floor, with beautiful hip, modern decor. I was particularly intrigued by the faucet in the bathroom which was very unique. The overall attention to detail from the concept and design to the food and service is what sets it apart. Fine dining at its best with a relaxed atmosphere that easily compares to a Michelin star restaurant.

Free on site parking is available and it is a BYOB. A liquor store is conveniently located next door in case you forget to bring your libations.“

“This is my go-to spot for Sunday Brunch. The 3-course Prix Fixe is affordable and delicious. Portions and drinks are just right and servers are engaging. Music is not over-bearing and there are TVs by bar to enjoy sports events. Just a pleasant place to spend Sunday afternoon.“

“Second baptism brunch I've attended here. The staff and food the last time were incredible but the staff this time were above and beyond incredible!! The food was very good and the place was extremely clean! Only issue I had was they put salad on top of each meal after serving a salad to start the meal. Didn't make much sense to me. But I still highly recommend this place!!! Too bad I could only give 5 stars to the service as it deserves 10!!!“

Good happy hour pricing as well. Staff is fantastic. Full bar - only improvement would be a wider beer selection, and some on tap - there's only cans and bottles - but that's a minor issue. Love this place!“

“New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. A wonderful experience!“

“Delicious food. Great service by Sydney! It started with amazing honey bread at the table. Flatbreads yum, especially the one with fig topping. Muscles, tuna tartare, noodle flush, brussel sprouts, calamari salad, and more! All yum! Would absolutely go there again. We had 8-10 people and the service was excellent.“

“We have dined here many times before seeing various shows at the Papermill Playhouse, and our experience has always been delightful. It is a nice, quiet little restaurant with a big heart. Everyone there is so kind and attentive. The service is wonderful. Everyone from the host, our server, even the bartender greeted us with big smiles. The food was fabulous as well. The chef came to our table to chat and see how everything came out - fantastic! It’s great that they have a pre-fixed menu, you pick your appetizer, main course, and desserts, and it’s all themed based on the show, so clever! The steak was cooked to perfection. By the time dessert came out, I could barely eat another bite, but I did! :) Drinks are delicious as well. The manager is a nice guy too! He came around to see how everything was - impeccable. From the atmosphere, to the food, the drinks, the staff, it was truly a wonderful time. We are looking forward to many more pre-dinner shows at the Carriage House!“

In the picture below I ordered the teriyaki, chicken, and shrimp with rice. They gave me some vegetables on the side which was sautéed very well.“

The food was pretty great, we had a small bar pie that had good flavor and crunch, and the disco fries were awesome. They're curly fries, which is great. Good service too, basic tap list but the domestics are $3 all day every day?? Sign me up. Live music on Fridays too, would definitely go back.“
