“Me and my girlfriend were waited on by who I'm assuming was the owner. She was sweet at first but kept getting impatient and it felt like we were being rushed out of there. In fact, I was still picking at some of my food and she kept coming over what seemed like almost every minute asking if I was done and if she could remove my plate. I said that I was still picking that's when she said that she doesn't like empty dishes in front of her it's a "pet peeve" Needless to say we left about 5 minutes after her coming over the 5th time“

“Such an amazing place to stop and grab some great food. We stopped here on a road trip headed south and ended up meeting Steve, the owner and chef, and had a great conversation with him! “We had Castaways cater my daughter’s engagement party. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Chicken franchise, broccoli and cavatelli, roasted potatoes, mozzarella and tomato and shrimp cocktail that was amazing!!!! I’m definitely going to use them again!“

“First time customer for lunch yesterday. Our waitress Francesca was AMAZING so friendly so helpful and just all around great service provider!! The food was delicious! Thankfully they were not busy so we had plenty of time to learn how everything worked and completely enjoy the experience. The food was amazing (except for the "lobster" balls def do not recommend) Will definitely be returning next for dinner since the available choices look even better than lunch!! “The restaurant was clean.
The staff was friendly. They timed our courses well. The food was cooked the way we ordered it and had a good flavor. They are generous with their portions. They offer lunch specials during the week. We will definitely eat there again. The Restaurant is on a major East/West road and is close to the Garden State Parkway. There is a Hilton Hotel next door so on Weekends in the Summer it can get crowded. So it is better to make reservations. We went midweek about a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes after they opened and it was not crowded. It was getting busy by the time we left.

Parking: The restaurant has plenty of parking around the building. They have handicapped parking spaces on the side of the building.“
