I ordered a real simple burger cooked medium. It came out basically rare. Everything else was nice and the bartender out back was Amazing!

Went there on a sunday night late September. They said it was open. Got there and they said only outside was open as they were cleaning inside. Sat outside, but it was too cold to eat out there. We were leaving and saw two people walk into the bar and they got served. Why?

Happy hour is not discounted with the special menu. It's just another hour. Spent way too much for too little. Food was OK. Guitar man outside was entertaining. Server was pleasant young man. Won't return again.

We stopped in for Happy Hour around 4pm, but when the check came only the drinks had HH pricing. When we mentioned it to Emily, she said we might have ordered after 4—even though HH is listed 4–6 and we finished before 6. Staff should mention that changes (like swapping fries for a meal) remove HH pricing and add charges. Even the coconut shrimp that were on the HH menu weren’t applied correctly. Not mad, just disappointed—it feels like they take advantage of people not checking receipts.

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend

During our recent visit to LBI, my husband and I decided to try this restaurant based on a recommendation. Unfortunately, it ended up being the most disappointing experience of our trip.

The atmosphere was fine—your average bar-style restaurant—but things quickly went downhill once we ordered. We started with a crab cake appetizer priced at $14. What we received was shockingly small—about the size of a quarter. We politely sent it back, feeling that it simply wasn’t worth the price.

What happened next was even more surprising: the owner personally approached us and, rather than showing concern or offering a solution, questioned our decision to return it. When we explained our reasoning, she told us to leave.

As patrons who were ready to spend well over $150 on drinks and dinner, we were stunned by how unprofessionally the situation was handled. For a restaurant owner, this is a huge misstep. There’s a way to handle customer feedback—this wasn’t it.

If you’re looking for great seafood on LBI, skip this place and go to The Shellfish. The food there is far superior, portions are generous, and the service is exceptional. We visited several excellent restaurants during our stay, but sadly, this one left a very negative impression.

Would not return or recommend.

92 degrees , I come in off the beach looking to cool down after a killer sesh of shore breaking and babes. I get to back to my house and check out the take out situation . What says 88 percent humidity than a Thanksgiving Turkey leg , mash and hot gravy and a warm Iced tea to wash it down. I remember coming in last summer and the menu was pretty chill. Jesus. Maybe let’s not have that in the rotation till mid October friends, and also Ice in the tea is key.

WOW! This place needs a serious face lift. I hadn't been here in years and surprised to see how run down it looks. I had seen the band that was playing there several times at other venues, and they were great. Here, the acoustics were so bad that the singer sounded like a scratched vinyl record with a bad needle and a cracked speaker. I can say more, but I'll leave it at that.

Karaoke night was decent but if the place was full it could've been great. Closed at midnight on a Thursday (Google said open til 2) so that was weak sauce. Bartenders and the DJ were cool tho

It was my time first there. I took a seat at the bar. They were busy, but I received my food within a reasonable amount of time. It was good, a little pricey, but everything is expensive nowadays. I would go back again. Service was good .
