Joe Pop's Shore Bar & Restaurant

I attended Joe Pops for open mic nite. They are very accommodating. They didn't pressure me to order anything becuase I was there to sing. I did order the onion rings and it was a generous portion for the $. they were very good and crunchy. They have a dinner special for November that looks like a great value. I'm planning to go back!

We really enjoyed our experience at the outside tiki bar. Our waiter, Kona who was very personable made us feel right at home. The homemade New England clam chowder was amazing as well as the sweet teriyaki wings. We liked the live music as well.

Our server was awful. His name was Kona. We had to get our own utensils and had to ask for the menus. We finally got our food and the crab cakes were cold. We will not be back!

Had an after party for my wedding at Joe Pops in late September and it was awesome. Communication in advance was great, staff was super flexible, everyone loved the food we ordered, and the DJ and atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend.

Great times here. Bartenders are the friendliest on the island! Plus if you goto 20th street beach you can stop into Joe Pops for a cocktail and the restroom!

Best happy hour on the island AND best most attentive staff! Can’t beat it!

Clam chowder is EXCELLENT!!! The burgers were PERFECT!!! Chicken sandwich was GREAT too!!! HIGHLY recommend!

Came with family again to Dueling Pianos for the second year, but had to leave because this year you insisted on $10 minimum per person . We had 5 adults willing but 4 children where that request was unreasonable. The 5 adults would have easily covered the total group minimum, but we were told we had to give up our table and the kids could just stand and hand around the bar area.
In the many many years we've been coming to Joe Pops. this was a first.

My family has been coming to the legendary Joe Pop’s for (quite literally) generations! So I could not have been more thrilled when the owners accepted our inquiry to host our wedding welcome party - during one of the busiest weekends on the island, no less. While many of the island bar and restaurants refuse to host events in July, the owners at Joe Pop’s welcomed us with enthusiasm and open arms. Our guests had a blast drinking and dancing to the live band, and we were so impressed with the top notch menu offered by chef Paul and his team (seared tuna bites, coconut shrimp, chicken parm sliders, and more) - way beyond bar food)! The Joe Pop’s team is all about supporting the island community. They don’t just say it, they show it, by treating their patrons with respect, warmth and hospitality. I’m already a regular - and I can’t wait to go back!

Dietary restrictions: My husband is allergic to peanuts, peas, and lentils, and his mom is allergic to lobster, mussel, balsamic, and strawberries. The kitchen had no issue accommodating all of our allergies!

Great music entertainment on Wednesday

We went there to see the dueling pianos on Monday. Very entertaining and fun.

Joe Pops goes waaay back to when I was kid, but particularly over the last few years, you can tell the new owners have really poured their heart and soul into this place!! What a fabulous atmosphere, the service is always top notch and the food is fantastic without being super overpriced like so many other places on LBI these days. Their outside bar is so inviting and relaxing too. Highly recommend!
