French onion and new England clam chowder were very solid. Decent sized wings. Prices were outrageous, even for a shore joint in my opinion. I'll leave it for the tourist in the summer.
Still the best clam chowder and you cannot tell me otherwise. The bread bowl is toasted perfectly. Good bands and entertainment. Staff is always nice, decent selection of beers and alcohol. Good food overall. Our staples are the chowder, potato skins, and wings but have had their sandwhiches which have been good as well.
I stopped in late on a Thursday, late June. I ordered a Guinness. The price was $10.40. So with a minimum tip I paid $12 for a Guinness. In my opinion, that is ridiculous. It’s not that I can’t afford it. It’s the principle. A Guinness should cost between $7-$9 tops. For this reason,...
