This is take out only. A lot of people are mistaken that they can eat there. They prepare a pot for you and you take it home and cook it yourself. The staff is excellent and the food is excellent.

We were there in August and had an excellent experience. Food was fantastic, super convenient, clear instructions and friendly staff. I was a little early, they had a June 76 Grateful Dead show playing and I got to talk with the team a little about the greatest band in the land. Check out 9/11/82 next, guys!

I went there and the bucket cost 30.00. You get corn n potatoes for that. They charge extra for the seafood which is much cheaper elsewhere. It’s the gimmick to draw you in and looks cool. Tiny claim steamers are 10 for a dozen clams which are so tiny. You can get clams cooked for you cheaper at a restaurant or cook on your own. I am so surprised there are 49 good reviews. I am sure 30 or more are from friends n family. Got to seafood place or ACME get some real good jersey corn and make your own. At least you will save on the 30.00 tin bucket.

Please do yourself a favor and don’t go here. First of all when we walked in and asked how to order and what they have the owner was very rude and didn’t want to help us. He just said “they’ll help you” referring to his employees like he didn’t want to waste time talking to us. The girls working there were nice so nothing against them which is why atmosphere got 2 stars and they did help us but we were really unsure what to order and the owners made no suggestions and offered no help. We ended up ordering a bucket with two dozen clams and it came with a little bit of corn and potatoes and seasoning. This cost $50. I took the pot home and followed instructions (and am an avid cook so don’t have issues cooking) end it was not done in the time it said it would be. I put it on the stove more and about eight of the clams did not open overtime. Meaning they were bad. The seasoning also tasted awful and the corn was not fresh. It was such a disappointment- we are local to the area and have always wanted to try this and it was so bad and so overpriced. When my husband complains about the dead clams, he said, usually this doesn’t happen, so oh well. The attitude of the people and the quality of the food is extremely poor. If you want good clams go to Ship Bottom Shellfish and you could get a dozen steamers, already cooked, and service with a smile for $12.

Great idea! We ordered this without realizing we had to steam it ourselves and boy are we glad!!! It was great!!! We ordered ahead, picked it up, brought it back to our rental, steamed it & had the best meal we’ve had all week. Totally recommend. ?

No better way to spend quality time with great friends from out of town than to enjoy a Topsail Steamer pot. It’s easy, the food is great, the cooking instructions are simple, the ordering process easy, the pickup simple and the team at Topsail are friendly and most helpful. Little to no prep time and little wait time leaves lots of time to be with our friends enjoying their company!

This is our second experience with this take out service. We built a custom pot both times. The seafood, pick up service and ease of ordering were all excellent. It is a fantastic way to enjoy a meal with friends and family. The instructions are simple and it does not take long before you have a terrific meal or appetizer for a large group.

Great takeout dinner experience when you don't like going out! Seafood was fresh and flavorful and super easy to cook and follow their instructions. One pot cooking so not a lot of clean-up which is great. Some other feedback: The clams were super sandy, they don't seem like they were cleaned at all. All of the clams were at the bottom so all of the seasoning settled in the clam shells at the bottom. We tried both Topsail Steamer and Outer Banks Boil this summer and while both were great and we enjoyed them very much, Outer Banks Boil gets my #1 vote.

Awesome dinner, I made a custom pot with andouille, kielbasa, shrimp, scallops, clams, lobster and it easily fed 3 adults and 2 children. Instructions were easy to follow and seasoning was perfect (used classic). This steamer pot is going to become a new summer tradition!
