I believe Zen Sushi is up there in terms of the best restaurants on LBI. I found that the food is quite tasty, especially in the dishes that use locally caught fish. The servers are also attentive and patient with little kids. It's also reasonably priced on an island that seems to get more expensive every year. We'll definitely be back!

We ordered takeout: edamame, lobster/shrimp tempura roll, California roll, yellow curry with tofu and vegetables, and shrimp and broccoli. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

I saw good reviews so I tried it . I got a Sashimi platter chefs choice and I liked everything but want to avoid white tuna. Salmon, Tuna but sea Bass snapper were there. It is served with rice on the side. I was going low carbs, but somehow they cook rice better than me. I had Miso soup also which was very good. They are bring your own booze so hit the liquor store up the street. Otherwise soft drinks.
