“Took my 5-year-old daughter for her first hibachi lunch. The chef made her feel very special. She really enjoyed the show, especially the volcano. I had the filet mignon and chicken and was barely able to eat everything. My daughter enjoyed the steak, and my wife had scallops and said that they were really well prepared.The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean too.All in all a fun afternoon.“

“The staff couldn't be more Fantastic- friendly entertaining and accommodating. The Hibachi was hibachi tasted as you'd expect. Got some sushi which i was a little nervous about given us being in the middle of nowhere New Jersey HOWEVER looking at other patrons dishes on the walk in gave me the courage to give it a shot and sure enough was fresh , delicious , cut properly (very underrated important aspect) and well- prepared.“

“Hewa is the restaurant where my love for sushi started. It is a great value with a wide variety and is a staple dinner option at my house. However after eating sushi from several other restaurants I have to unfortunately say, it is not the best. Don't get me wrong it's still really good and sometimes I just need a good heeling of Hewa, but it's the variety that allows Hewav to excel not necessarily the quality. That being said they are the best of the middle, only being beat by higher end swanky sushi places. Everyone should go here for the every day sushi or Chinese, it is just a solid meal everytime.“

“horrible customer service. never been treated so rudely at a place i go to so often. never heard a thank you or any sort of appreciation. Not to mention! I've found black shrimp intestines in the shrimp shumai, even tho its easy to clean when prepping. they are lazy and rude. heres the most disgusting thing..ive even found long black hairs in their sushi!! 🤢🤮. not joking...been coming here for years but after finding that im so disgusted...i never wanna give them my business again.“
