“First time eating here with group of colleagues. Was enjoyable! We came during a day where it was a fixed menu literal table spread. We had the choice to eat with fingers or with utensils and we all opted to eat with our fingers. There's something enjoyable about being encouraged to eat our food with our hands. Obviously a messy meal but worth it. A garlic fried rice was laid on the table topped with vegetables and Proteins were chicken, pork and fish.Parking: 6pm Weeknight parking in South Philly. Enough said. I feel like if you're willing to park, say, 10 minute walk away versus being super close you will have better luck with parking.“
“Chef Chance is crushing it at Tabachoy. The food is delicious, creative, and portioned really well. The menu is meat heavy, so if you’re not into that - it may not be the best option for you. But pork and beef lovers - the dishes will melt in your mouth. All the way to the dessert - his Ube soft serve is so refreshing and makes you want to start the whole experience over. Highlights for me included the lumpia, Caesar salad, broccoli rabe, pork sisig, and ube soft serve. It’s BYOB so grab a bottle from the DiBrunos bottle shop around the corner!“
“I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years! The food, the service, the atmosphere and the friendly faces always make me feel close to home. Kuya Tony and his team always greets you with a smile. The dishes they served are cooked and served fresh everyday. No selling of left overs the next day you can assure you’ll be eating fresh, warm and delicious food. They have all kinds of Filipino snacks, desserts, bread, condiments, frozen food, ice cream, candies name it and most likely they got it. Can you tell I am a happy customer? ? ? ? more power to Kuya Tony and team!“
“Love that Reading Terminal has some Filipino options! I went twice during a conference nearby, once for breakfast (tocilog) and then lunch (chicken adobo). Big, satisfying meals with a lot of flavor.I found this area of the market to also be less chaotic, which is why I personally like it!“
“Nice little restaurant with a wide variety of filipino dishes. They've got a menu where they make things fresh to order as well as a display case of dishes that you can make combo meals. Everything we ordered tasted delicious (especially recommend the halo halo and their lumpia shanghai).“
