If you want to experience an old school, hole in the wall, dive bar, which I might add are swiftly disappearing from are local landscapes, visit Somerdale Bar. You enter and the aroma of stale cigs and countless spilt beers wafts into your senses. The bar stools have cracked leatherette coverings of which one looked for the least damage upon to settle down for an interesting hour or two. The Bartender swiftly arrived for our order. Neighborhood bar with really good food. The service was excellent. Recently ran an event there and they couldn't have been nicer. The food was excellent. Definitely worth going back.

Bartender on Saturday was a great guy. There were about four people in the whole place on a Saturday night - probably a good spot to take a first date if you actually want to talk to each other. The regulars said the food was very good but I did not try anything.
