The building was a beautiful, well preserved/renovated, historic inn on the bay. Gorgeous setting. Service was slow but they always apologized for the wait. Water was served immediately but then server disappeared for some time. Finally took our order but didn't serve the bread during cocktails. It was served with the entrees. One entree came out cold, like it had been sitting for the others to finish cooking. They rep,aced it with a fresh one but everyone had a,ready finished...
Gorgeous bay views. Lovely piano player. My martini was watered down. Food fresh, delicious. Perfect portion sizes. Will definitely be back. A hidden gem. What life at the shore used to be.
I had dinner here in the past and it was terrible. I didn't realize until I got there it was the same place. Positives: Service is lovely, attentive. Atmosphere nice. We sat outside, nice early evening. Prices are reasonable. Negatives: the food is terrible, garbage. I would never post something like this, but I can't believe they can serve this food. I had a crab cake... I've had worse, this was served with a cafeteria scoop of cold mashed potatoes, and a few green...
