Micheal is a genuine person who is an amazing cook and very friendly!! We had Egusi soup with beef and fufu, Jolloff rice with chicken and veggie egg rolls all seasoned to perfection! The portion’s were large and plentiful! I am looking forward to coming here again. I also recommend calling ahead of time for large orders only because he makes them very fresh!! Also even though there’s only one person he cooks it as fast as he can but it’s still sanitary! Love it!!!

My son and I had the pleasure of trying Asanka Delight. Michael was very welcoming and kind. We had egusi w/chicken(fufu) and jollof rice w/ chicken. The food was very good and flavorful. The plantains were delicious. I will definitely be visiting Asanka again.

Food was great !!! My wife and I went here yesterday (5/16) and we really enjoyed ourselves. My wife had died turkey tail with jolif rice and I had egusi soup with goat meat and banku. And we also had some puff puff. The asanki ginger was strong!! Im jamaican and im used to the ginger drinks but that asanka ginger drink was the MOTHER OF ALL GINGER DRINKS !!!

Just went here last night, craving some nigerian food we met mr. michael for the first time very down to earth guy gave us some reccomendations because it was our first time trying the food and it did not dissappoint! from the jollof rice meal (big portion) to the chicken to the plantain and turmeric sauce everything tasted great and he cooked everything very fast the wait time wasnt along at all! Super nice guy and we went to the somerset location. I will be back again to try more items on the menu!

It's all the way to the back of the Desi food court, don't give up when you walk in and see rows of Indian places! Owner is very friendly and happy to give recommendations/describe foods. Gave me some cooking pointers to improve my fufu. Food was very tasty and portions generous. Was only able to take cash, though that might have been temporary. Definitely going to come back here when I'm in town!
