GAELOS (Fresh Mexican Cuisine)

Truly, one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever tried in my life, living in New Jersey. My first time here, I ordered my food about 10 minutes before arriving. By the time I got there, it was already ready. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the young lady who took my order was friendly.

, I ended up getting the queso Beria tacos with consommé, and boy, were they amazing! The food was fresh and flavorful, unlike many other Mexican restaurants that lack taste. This place was a breath of fresh air.

I also tried the horchata, and it tasted just like how my mother makes it. It was incredible! I’m definitely coming back to this place.

Food so good here and the people are nice but… are we rationing around here? Every time I order a tray, it’s always at least 2-3 tacos lacking meat. This is not only lacking but they just threw in a couple pieces of different meats and called it a day lol /: Tried to put my folks on because like I said, the food is very good.. but they complained of the same.

The food was delicious and service was remarkable! Gaelos was able to cater my son's birthday party and did a top-notch job. Not only was the food great, the setup and decor was above our expectations and so beautiful. Highly recommend when thinking of catering for an event.

my favorite place!! i always recommend them to everyone i know. You can feel how family oriented they are. The service is always amazing i’ve been going since the sold outside of their home!!!! 10/10 please give them a try. Birria chicken quesadilla, carne asada fries, elotes, agua frescas! can’t say enough about them.

Lady had an attitude. Nasty service. 20 for$46 Charge more than listed. The mix should be of your choice or written on menu. Do not mind paying if its as listed.

The carne asada fries and chicken birria tacos are my favorite, but all the food here is delicious!

The food is great, but it was ridiculously hot inside and unbearable to sit there to eat. The service was very bad today too because one waitress with glasses acted very inattentive and ungrateful. So much that every time I said thank you she didn’t even respond.

They also didn’t even mention the taco Tuesday promotion. That should be well described on your physical menu, boards or via the waitress.

I don't usually post reviews but after dining in recently I felt compelled to. I have ordered take out multiple times usually go for the semita, sopes or the tacos de cabeza and have been happy. The tacos the cabeza have been the best tasting I could find near by and they used to hook it up with the meat portion. We dined in last night and ordered tacos de cabeza when they got to the table I was extremely disappointed with the portion of the meat that was served in each tortilla/taco, they basically gave us less than half of what they usually serve, absolutely ridiculous. It felt like all I was eating was tortilla barely any meat on the taco. For the price of $5 a taco it was super skimped. Since I've ordered multiple times I would expect consistency. The sopes had the same issue barely any beans or meat served on top and a bunch of lettuce. Again very disappointing, not going there anymore they rubbed me the wrong way after that experience.
