We arrived hoping to have a nice piece of fish and some sides -- something light. Unfortunately there was no option for a "fish of the day" broiled, pan fried, or grilled. Each menu entry came with sauces and many with meat such as chorizo or pancetta. Even the mussels and fries was made with bacon. If you don't want meat the choices are even more limited. Diego was a fantastic server! Has been a while since we've been there. Now they have a bar so no longer byob. Prices also seem to have increased quite a bit, and portions got smaller. However food was still really good.
I had such a phenomenal evening at Boulevard. It started with our waiter. She was attentive and did an amazing job breaking down the menu. The fried calamari and cannelloni were so fresh and packed with flavor. My entree, the seafood risotto, was one of the best seafood dishes I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. I would recommend this to any seafood lover and even people who want to give seafood a try. 10/10 experience.
