We had a lovely dinner at Wolfgang's this past Sunday evening. As usual the staff was accommodating, pleasant attentive. Our drinks were delicious and at our table within 5 minutes of ordering. We had the beefsteak tomatoes with sliced sweet onions served with a Roquefort dressing that was delicious. Porterhouse for two on a sizzling plate grilled to perfection and an order of fries along with creamed spinach completed our dinner. Ice cream and Schlag completed our event....
We chose Wolfgang's to celebrate a birthday. For a party of 10, the service was very personal. The food was great, as always. Our server, Niti, could not have been more attentive. When my husband left his credit card on the table, he held it for us until the next day when we could pick it up. Will absolutely be coming back!
Wolfgang's is a favorite steakhouse of ours but last night it just wasn't up to the 5 stars we would usually give it. The waiter was inattentive and not at all friendly. I spilled my drink, he saw it, did nothing to help and ignored the situation. The steadk was good and so were the potatoes. The tomato/onion salad was the usual. One of the 3 oysters I had didn't slide out as a good shucked oyster should. The creamed spinach didn't taste "creamed"...
