“Rarely do I feel inspired to 5/5 a place but this is a magical spot to hang out. DJ Davis G spins the best music creating incredible vibes you cannot miss. The servers working are attentive and friendly. All of this is a 10/10, but I need to talk about the food. The wings at this spot are by far the best wings you will ever have in your entire life. When you are listening to some of the best songs you ever heard, while receiving the best service you have ever had the pleasure of receiving, you will be sitting down eating the best wings you have ever had in your entire life. These wings changed my life. I have a new answer to my "what would your last meal be" answer after consuming the wings at this pub. Nothing will ever replace how I felt when I was at this special pub. Cannot recommend more.“

“Great cocktail bar… martinis… negronis… top shelf! Wine??? Meh… chintzy pour of just average wines…$14!for a 4 oince pour of a “ Super Tuscan” ? Steer clear… not worth it.
Food… tomato sauce is top shelf… but if you are featuring your sauce and you fill a dish surrounding 2 small pieces of eggplant( which was cooked perfectly BTW) you need to provide some BREAD for dipping… not everyone likes garlic bread ( at $10) avoid the “ wood fired” artichokes… they are “ canned” and nothing special at $14! The Short rib plate with butternut squash is amazing… a little on the sweet side… but something special for sure.
The Meatballs…. Ypu can make better at home small orbs of deep fried beef… very little flavor very crunchy…. Not a good choice!!! Food is a mixed bag… some good… some not so good… we will return for the cocktails…. Wine? No way!!! Meatballs??? Eat a tennis ball!! Artichokes??? Make them yourself at home! Music is WAY too loud…. Pretty pricey tab for 7’out of 10 food. Pizza was made with top shelf ingredients but bottom crust was “ flubbery” needed a few minutes in a hot pan. This place is among the best choices for cocktails in Sayreville… but needs work to be worth multiple“

“My first time in a bar @ Perth Amboy and I don't know Spanish and I felt more comfortable than most of my usual spots. They went over and beyond to make sure I had the drinks my friends and I wanted. Good chill spot if your on road and trying to relax for the night.“

“Stumbled upon this welcoming pub after a long working day during UN Week in NYC. As my hotel was near Carteret was able to hop off the NYC bus and stroll right in. Trivia night was on and that was a welcome diversion - as was the prompt and friendly service and the cold beer! BTW, $5 Happy Hour is Monday-Saturday 5-8pm. I’m a wing snob so didn’t give them a high ranking but definitely in the zone of tasty and comfort food! Highly recommended!!!“

“As a Union Beach Resident, I just have to give a shout out to this awesome local pub. Although I visit there often and it has become like a second home where you visit family when you enter, the NYE celebration last night was so fun! The pre fix menu was full of options and the pricing was so fair. The drinks are always served cold and well prepared. Renee and Courtney were up beat and on point and made the evening even more enjoyable. It would not have mattered though who was behind the bar as the rest of the team there are all amazing and professional! If you are in the Bayshore area and are looking for a place to visit stop by and check them out!! BTW, the burgers are really the best in the area !!“

The owner, Kim, helped us with the menu, was totally delightful and you can truly tell she enjoys her customers and being there. I am going back .. soon. “A couple of weeks ago I had a great filet mignon with shrimp scampi. The other night the chicken piccata was amazing. Burgers consistently good.“

“This was our first time dining at Bello's and the place was clean and family friendly. We ordered fried mushrooms which were previously frozen and not very good and I had the buffalo wings which were average with little flavor. We both had a salad which was good and then a bar pie and eggplant parmesan which was good.“

“I've been going to the South River Pub for many many years and I used to bartend there as well. It's my hometown bar and I love it. My mom knew the owners and i grew up with their kids and they have become like family. I particularly love karaoke night on Fridays with DJ Rob, who has become a dear friend to me over the years as well. The regulars are fun, kind and caring people and when I go there it feels like family. Like “Cheers.” They don't serve food but you can bring your own if you like. Sometimes for special events and football, Lil will make a little food buffet for the customers. It's always a fun time.“
