Sound Bound Brook Location-
Traveling to a new state without any food recommendations can be a challenge. I decided to search for soul food near me, and this restaurant came up. The food was incredible! We ordered an oxtails plate and a shrimp plate, both of which were an easy 10 out of 10. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere added to the experience. I think the guy sitting in front of us was the owner. His wife and kids were very sweet. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and trying more items from their menu. Oh, and the drink was fire.

Went in to get a chicken platter with mac and cheese and potato salad. They gave me someone else's order after waiting INSIDE for 15 minutes... im so pissed off . $17 for something I didn't even want. Save your time and money yall. I do lots of reviews. This place is no longer what they used to be..

Edit after 2months Floor is clean, doesnt stink inside, orders ready on time. Good improvement.
Ridiculous, delivery orders never ready on time, stinks inside, sticky floor. Idk who is ordering this crap

Sooooo Good! We ordered take out on a Friday night on Door Dash. Food was ready on time and order was accurate. We ordered baked chicken, turkey meatloaf, green beans, yellow rice, potato salad, candied yams, mac n cheese and bread pudding. Each dinner came with 2 sides. It was a great price for a large portion size. We saved half for next day. All of the food was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Staff was nice when I went to pick it up. We were so happy with our meal and will definitely be going back and have already recommended to family!
Never been but I’ve always ordered delivery from this place and they NEVER mess up with the food, great food every time

The customer service is terrible!!! I called to place an order for pick up, was place on hold for over 20 mins, the lady seems to purposely left me on hold. I tired calling back several times and line went straight to voicemail. I eventually hung up. This was very unprofessional and restaurant seems to be understaffed.

I LOVE THE OXTAILS, STRING BEANS AND MAC AND CHEESE. the didn't have collard greens that day, so I was disappointed. The food is delicious and tasted home cooked!
