Perfection. My experience here was perfection. The pastrami reuben with Russian dressing was the best i ever had, the service was amazing attentive and kind, the shop looks like the places i used to visit when i was a kid in Garfield and Lodi. The prices were also very reasonable. I had a chance to speak with the owner, who is a very nice man. I am glad to drive an hour just to come back again! This establishment is a must for all food lovers!
Food was wonderful, as was the service. The atmosphere is a busy Deli... Bit industrial with boxes of supplies about but does not detract from the people and food. Did I mention the Flavortown mural... My first DDD visit - looking forward to more of Joe's and find some more great residents of Flavortown!
We order frequently from Joe’s. In almost all instances, we get exactly what we anticipate, and enjoy it. The burgers are delicious, and I love the Mandarin cashew chicken salad. It is basically a store: combo pizzeria, butcher shop and deli. There is some casual seating, but we usually get takeout. On most weeknights and some weekends, Joe's has a half tray special that consists of a protein and one or two sides. Generally, it is very good and feeds at least 4 people....
