I love the gourmet white pie! It is easy to see (and taste) that there is TLC put into the food here. The only reason that I rated 4 stars instead of 5, is because I can both see and taste every couple of orders that the pizza is made by someone different. I know that the head chef (or Pizza MASTER) Can't work 7 days a week, every hour that the restaurant is open..but, there should still be consistency. Whoever fills in on the head pizza maestros' day off, needs to follow...
Ordering from La Vera is a hit or miss. I've ordered in the past and received really delicious foods. Other times, is not the best. For example, I received the shrimp scampi which was flooded with oil. I couldn't eat it and threw it out.
The pizza is perfectly flavored with fresh mozzarella and basil and tomato sauce on a thin crust.. De'Lish! I was ecstatic to find that they do not serve any pork.... plus plus plus!! That's part of the reason I gave 5 stars, but the food is very freah and GOOD here!!! : D
