What a find! I am sure this place is beloved in Newark but we happened to stumble upon it while visiting. The space is huge and you don’t feel crowded in. Our go-to local bagel spot! Happy to see them expanding to breakfast sandwiches in addition to bagels and coffee. Lots of natural light and space to sit inside, now. Owner is amazing and always giving us great tips on what's fresh & delicious. Plus he's very community oriented.
I went to Sonny's Bagel today, and they were great. The service was top tier. The bagel that I got with salmon and cream cheese and onions was actually exquisite. I definitely recommend people to come here.
