Loud near the kitchen. Server was very attentive at first, then... idk what happened, things went sideways a little. Cocktails took a while to arrive. Wine took time to arrive. Water was seldom refilled. Appetizers were great as was all food. In fact the food quality saved this restaurant in my opinion. Server forgot my entree, thankfully the manager comped the item. Recommend the dessert tower. Overall, food excellent, service lacking, ambience kinda nice kinda casual, somewhat expensive... would go back, look forward to seeing the improved wine list

Had a great first time at fox and the falcon for my wife's birthday! Thank you to the staff and chefs for a great meal and experience. They even provided a nice card for my wife's birthday which we really appreciate ??. My only critique is that the dining room service was superior to the bar service. Still a 4 out of 5 experience and definitely recommended!

I took my team here for National Nurses Week. First time, every dish we ordered was delicious, appetizers, deviled eggs, crispy calamari and rock shrimp, burrata salad. We had entrees, Evoo Chicken Parmesan, Filet Mignon and the surf and turf. All cooked perfectly!! Our server was very attentive and sweet. I will certainly be back again and again!!

This was our first time here and we had high expectations since it's a David Burke restaurant. The drinks were very good, we got the fig spiced mule and golden harvest. Both were delicious! We did the salmon and tuna tartar as an appetizer and it was good, but very salty. Then for our main course we got the short rib with cheesy polenta and brussel sprouts. The short rib and polenta were good, although a bit more salt than needed on the short rib. The brussel sprouts had no flavor or seasoning, they were very bland. We had the creme brulee for dessert and that was decent. Our waitress was nice, but kept trying to get us to order extra things. The ambiance was nice and we had a quiet booth, which I appreciated. Overall I would try it again sometime, but hopefully they calm down on the use of salt!

The ambiance is nice and the food is above par, however, the bar service is atrocious. Definitely one of the worst restaurants in North Jersey as far as service goes. I’ve been there approximately eight times in the past few months and experienced horrible service at the bar all times. A little too much to be coincidental. The average time to get your first drink can average from eight to thirteen minutes. To get a second round or order food can average a fifteen to thirty minute wait. And worse to ask for check and actually get it can be well over a half hour wait. If you just want a drink or two with food and you have 1-2 hours waiting to be served this is the perfect spot. What a shame because this place could be a gold mine if they had sufficient training and staffing.

We came to the fox and falcon with my entire family. About three weeks ago . Dinner was great and the drinks were awesome. This was actually Our first time here. Someone recommended the place. We all had a good time until my entire family and I witnessed the GM Nuno talking to his employees very rudely. It made us feel VERY uncomfortable. Not only the server but also two of the bartenders. The employees there look uncomfortable.. I will never come to this establishment again. I don’t have respect for these type of people. I think that David Burke should look into this situation. Or whatever is going on in that restaurant. He shouldn’t be running that place if he doesn’t have respect for women/employees. As I said, before the food was awesome drinks were great. But the ambience just weird.

Started with eggplant chips, house fries with bacon and fried baby octopus. All are delicious, eggplant chips is outstanding. Continued with fillet mignon, it was cooked tender and juicy. I had a house old fashioned, it was balanced and tasty. I loved the overall experience.

Went here with a work friend, based on a recommendation of another colleague. The place was basically empty, but it was a Tuesday evening & rainy, so maybe not predictive of the usual crowd. We sat at the bar. Bartender was terrible. No attention to customers whatsoever. We had to ask for menus, to order, and for additional drinks. She put 3x the bitters in my old fashioned than called for. Didn't offer to remake it. Food was okay. Nothing to write home about. Came out really quickly & made me wonder whether it's re-heated or made from scratch. A bit disappointing for such a nice looking place & a great location.

Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding! The bacon is a must order and the chicken francaise with shrimp was amazing! The GM, Nuno, came over to our table to check in on us and we had a nice conversation about the events coming up at the restaurant. Everything was perfect from the service, to the food, to the ambiance, and the cute foxes displayed all over. We saw a gift card for this restaurant for sale at Costco in Union and decided to give this place a try and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!

The service at this restaurant was abysmal. We went for a holiday brunch, the restaurant was maybe half full and our server was not only missing/did not check in on our table for several long bouts of time but was also not attentive when he was there. Water service was bad, the food was fine but came out cold which sullied the experience further. Food runners wandered around with no idea what tables they were supposed to bring food to. I would not return to this restaurant.

I rarely leave reviews but this place really wowed me. The vibes were great, the food and drinks were excellent and our waitress was lovely and helpful. I wish I could give this place ten stars.

Like most David Burke establishments, the food was very good, though the clothesline bacon was served cold and the French fries a bit soggy. Everything is priced a bit too high for what is advertised to be an upscale but casual bar/restaurant, but that hasn't been enough to stop us from coming here now twice (though we'd certainly consider it for our weekly spot if it was a bit less expensive).

The food was excellent, the service a bit uneven. There were times when dirty dishes sat in front of us for a while and times when they were removed too early. The only real issue was the extremely high noise level in the main dining room. We would return.
