Forgot to take a picture, but they turned out a pretty good burger. I had the Homestead burger, which was nicely cooked and a big gooey mess with a big pile of bacon on top. I enjoyed it although I probably should’ve pushed off some of the bacon. Good burger!
My sister and I stopped for a Sunday afternoon lunch as we used to do on our special day...ending with the lunch at the homestead. We were greeted by a very agitated server, only 3 other tables occupied at the time. Service was quick, but unfriendly. We were told by her that a server just "left" and she was very busy. We understood, but it should not have been taken out on the patrons. Let's just say...food there was good. Drink order was double of what we ordered...
Food is mediocre at best and a limited menu. Service was slow even though it wasn't crowded, plus when 2 of us got our desserts, both fork handles were laying in the whipped cream. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area with better food and service.
