“We had our small wedding at Andre's this past weekend, and I am still in awe of how fantastic the event was. Tracey is an all-star. From coordinating calls, decorating our table, marrying us, to keeping us on schedule. Andre had our whole group raving about how great the food was. From the appetizers to the cake, we really couldn't have asked for better. On top of it all, the location is STUNNING! The staff helping to serve us were so friendly and pleasant and together they all helped make sure our wedding day was the best day of our life. I can't recommend Andre's enough, and we will certainly be returning for a meal!“

And the young owners are so sweet and attentive.( But I hope they get a louder phone so they can hear the incoming phone calls that may be customers wanting to order-they missed 3 or so. “Hamburg bagels are the absolute best in all of Northern NJ! We are bagel connoisseurs and they are the best since our days in Wayne, NJ Sam’s to be particular. The owner is hands on and runs a tight ship with great organization and the most delicious variety of bagels. We make a 20 minute trek there for Christmas morning bagels and to satisfy our need for bagels throughout the year. You need to get there early Christmas eve morning and this morning we had a delightful experience with Medi a very patient and polite man. I highly recommend Hamburg Bagels for the most delectable variety of bagels and breakfast sandwiches. A black diamond/five star experience!“

“If I could give this place more than 5 Stars I would. The service was amazing. The lady was a doll. From when we walked in she treated us very nice. The pickled Coyote was so good wish I can buy some for home. Our food was very very good. My boyfriend got the beef ramen and I got the pork udon soup. Dumplings were amazing everything was great. Our server was just very friendly. The bathroom was super clean. Would come again for sure! My new favorite place. Becoming regulars. Don’t listen to the bad reviews. Those people don’t know good food I been to 6 other ramen and soup houses. And this one is far very good. Please visit this establishment. The pork was so tender! And not to salty I don’t like sweet or salty. So this was a perfect place to start your day. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🍲

Update. The kimchi was good. I don’t really like spicy but it was amazing when dipped in the soup the kimchi. The server/owner was talking about the probiotic properties of the kimchi very informational very happy. And the filtered water cups were a plus. And the hot tea when we first sat down was nice and welcoming. I wasn’t a fan but I still love to interact with different cultures.“

“We had a 50 person party yesterday I was pleasantly surprised with the buffet they put out for us and I have to give a HUGE shout out to Matt (I’m pretty sure that was his name. “Came for dinner with another couple. The tapas eggplant was delicious, light and flavorful. Just lovely. We had two burgers and two steaks. All delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful, however, there is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant. Which normally would not be an issue but this evening four young women were “working” the older men sitting at the bar. It became clear as the evening progressed that this was going on. None of us could believe what was happening right next to our table!! As the targeted men left the bar the young women quickly moved on to their next victims. It was all very obvious and pretty repulsive. Such a shame to have this type of thing happening in a lovely restaurant. I would hope management will be alerted by the bartenders that their establishment has become prey for this type of behavior. Quite unsettling.“

“Tonight me and my fiancé ordered dinner from here. I got wonton soup because i wasn't that hungry and ended up eating the whole container. Hands down the BEST wonton soup I’ve ever had. “This place is so charming and the food is incredible!!! We sat outside and enjoyed pancakes with berries and the special sweet potato bowl with spinach, mushrooms and pulled pork. “Resturant Latour is a fine dining experience. If the Michelin guide ever recognizes restaurants in the state of New Jersey, Latour will receive Stars. Latour is located within the golf resort Crystal Springs. You do not have to stay at the resort to dine at Latour. You need to make a reservation and there is a formal dress code. The resturant itself is a smaller intimate space with maybe 12 tables. The entire western wall of the dining room is glass so you can see the sunset over the mountian while you eat dinner.

The menu is set at either a 3 or 7 course chef's tasting menu. We opted for 7. The food was excellent. Every dish outside of dessert featured a different protein and everything was portioned so that you could enjoy the entire meal. In addition to the 7 courses, the meal included an aperitif, a bread and butter selection, and housemade chocolates after dessert.

The service sets the standard for five star dining. There is an entire team of professionals serving you, not just a single person. (Seriously ten+ different people took care of our table.) Every course is delivered and explained. The table is cleared, cleaned and reset for every course. The (soon to be master) sommelier will answer any and all questions you have about wine.

We enjoyed our dinner experience and would recommend it. I think it is a great option for something like an anniversary.

There are some comments on cost. To not be suprised, set expectations to at least $600 for dinner for two with upward trajectory based on quality and quantity of wine consumption and generosity of gratuity.

As a bonus: You can sign up for a tour of the wine cellar and a wine tasting with the sommelier at the resort. You do not have to stay at the resort to do this. There is a fee for the wine tasting. We did both of these before dinner.

“We had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding at The Windlass and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We were having a Christmas wedding and the Windlass was decorated so nicely for the holidays! It fit the vibe perfectly! Donna helped us plan our dinner every step of the way, promptly helping us with any questions we had. The waitstaff was excellent, food was delicious, and the lakefront location was gorgeous! We highly recommend the Windlass for any dinner party you may be having or even just a night out. We’ve also eaten at the restaurant on a normal night and had a great experience as well!“

“We ate at Black Forest Inn tonight. We did not realize a reservation was needed tonight as we are not in area. We were still accommodated by a friendly staff, service was very efficient, quick with refill with drinks. I love the decor of the restaurant. The experience is great. Food is amazingly. We did make reservations to return Dec 13 for the German Christmas event.“

“Carmine's is our go to place whenever we crave Italian or a cheesesteak. Husband and I were there yesterday for late lunch. Excellent pasta fagioli soup, huge slices of pizza, and overstuffed, cheesesteak. Great service and reasonable prices. We were informed there is an extra charge if you're not paying cash. This is becoming a common practice and we were informed of it. Server was excellent and made us feel welcome. I was asked if I knew of any pizza parlors served gluten free and of course I recommended Carmine's.“
