“I tried to put another review on Google but since I just entered my first review on April 6th it would not let me submit another one. I was there again this past weekend with my daughter and we ordered the filet mignon and it was amazing!!!! Luke was our waiter on Saturday and he was excellent!!! Potstickers were great as well!!! When my daughter, grandson, girlfriend and others come down Element is certainly our go to place!!! Thank you everyone from the friendly greeting when you arrive to the amazing waiters and waitresses to the chefs and beyond! This restaurant runs like a “Swiss Watch” well done!!!“

“the hudson house is the happiest place on earth. after all my years coming here, i have never had anything less than a great experience. all of the bartenders are amazing, so personable, kind and friendly. robby fab and casey are the best!!!!!!!! if you don’t come here you’ve never experienced LBI!“
“My dad, Erich Rauer, recently passed away. I just wanted to share that this was one of his favorite places, he had a lot of good times with all his friends here, especially with his good friend Doug. Unfortunately in the past few years his illness prevented him from being able to hang out with everyone here as much as he would have liked to. But that didn’t stop him from sharing some stories of fun times here. On occasion my sister Kim or I had the pleasure of joining him for a few drinks. He was very proud of his German heritage, was a great fisherman back in the day, loved soccer and watching the FIFA World Cup, and a NY Giants fan for as long as I can remember.
But anyway, I just wanted to share the memory. I included a few pictures dad had sent me, of some good times he had over the past few years here.

“First time here this past Tuesday. The food was phenomenal. I took a friend from Brooklyn and she was very impressed also! We got the local oysters, New England clam chowder, Flounder picatta and the roasted chicken dish. All excellent!!“

“Had a wonderful retirement party there on 06/07. Everything was perfect. From the table settings to the personalized menu. The servers were excellent and the food was outstanding and got rave reviews from our guests and family. Calloways has always been a favorite of mine and now has many more. Thank you to the owner and all your amazing staff. And I think you have a few more converts to your Paul Bunyan Bloody Mary’s. They were yummy.“

“Best wings I've ever had. Make sure to get them 'back on the grill'! Only real complaint is that this place is too small to accommodate all the people that want to frequent it.. but how can I hold Doyle's popularity against it?“

“I am extremely fussy about how, my Steak & burgers are cooked (Pittsburgh Blue) The chef last night "Hit it outta park perfect" the entire night was awesome, atmosphere is fantastic, if you want a home town Pub with great prices, great atmosphere and amazing food, you will not regret it .. going to the Lighthouse.“
“Atmosphere was great. Decorated cute for Christmas. Ordered the fried calamari which was cooked perfect and the flavors were great. The mussels were my favorite of the apps we ordered. Light and flavorful. The steamed clams New England style were good too!“

“We have a great time when Chef prepares food as we the participants get to ask questions about products, recipes, etc! He makes the presentation fun and we always learn something new! Cinco de Mayo dishes were spectacular! Love this place!“

“GO HERE!!! IF YOU DO GO THOUGH…fair warning…the wings are so good but so hot that you better make sure to bring a friend that you could BLOW! Water, bread AND MILK did not even help my mouth heat, which is the ONLY reason I resorted to blowing my friend hahahahahah. Legit his appendage was the only thing that numbed the pain. 10/10 coming here again!“

“You have to try the ranch fries they come with potato wedges but no get them with regular fries. To much potato with the wedges and takes the other flavors away with just potato. Food is amazing especially the scallops wrapped in bacon, and the seafood bisque. Been coming here for years and will continue with many more years.“

“Doyle's Pour House has great food and service in an ideal (and family friendly) "neighborhood pub" setting. My food choice is the the Soccer Sauce wings "thrown back on the grill" with a side of extra sauce and a cold beer....yum!" And their Tuesday Musical Bingo and Wednesday Trivia on Tap are the best the shore has to offer!“

“Went to dinner Saturday night with my parents who dine there often (after many years on the island...crazy it was my first time). Our waiter, Alex was SO incredibly kind and a wonderful waiter. I cannot have gluten so he were really cautious in checking to make sure everything I ordered was safe for me. A great spot, where I felt completely welcome. My one gentle comment is to ask that the music be lowered or nixed in the dining area. We found ourselves shouting a bit to hear one another. I will definitely be back...trying happy hour next! Thanks so much again for a lovely evening.“
