Staff is friendly and accommodating, even suggesting that kitchen could divide my friend's and my orders so we could share. The food was delicious. The only negatives for me were the air conditioning temp (too cold) inside and the numerous flies outside. Neither will prevent a return visit.
I actually really like Lucille’s, which is why I think a 4-star review is more fair than blindly piling on with the hype.
There’s a lot to love here — the old-school country cooking vibe, the history, the personality, and the fact that it’s a local institution. But some of these reviews make it sound like every meal is a life-changing experience, and I just don’t think that’s realistic.

I loved this place! They have outdoor seating for breakfast, which is perfect if the weather is nice. The indoor space is a bit small, so sitting outside makes for a great experience.
The staff is wonderful, and they have a wide variety of options on the menu, plus daily specials. 💕
