“We ate at Black Forest Inn tonight. We did not realize a reservation was needed tonight as we are not in area. We were still accommodated by a friendly staff, service was very efficient, quick with refill with drinks. I love the decor of the restaurant. The experience is great. Food is amazingly. We did make reservations to return Dec 13 for the German Christmas event.“

“What can we say? except we've been coming here for several decades and the new additions to the restaurant and the new view are amazing. the wood carving all around it makes it a very special place, but the most important part is the home crafted beers and the delicious food. “Tonight me and my fiancé ordered dinner from here. I got wonton soup because i wasn't that hungry and ended up eating the whole container. Hands down the BEST wonton soup I’ve ever had. I even called to compliment them, and i don’t think I’ve ever done that. It was that good. My fiancé also said he agrees it’s the best Chinese food he’s ever had.“

“Four of us enjoyed this hidden gem in Randolph this evening. All four appetizers and entrees were superb. In both taste and presentation. Great value for the price and the services was superior. I recommend this restaurant highly for all.“
“My favorite place to stop at on the lake for an ice-cream. We usually paddle up to the docks on our SUPs (stand up paddleboard). Grab a cone of real (Jefferson Dairy I believe) ice-cream and then back on the lack for some awesome paddling.
Highly recommended for a quick bite, all kinds of tchotchkes, signs, toys, games and a bunch of other stuff that I believe are locally made. It's a must visit, especially for those that want to revisit simpler times.“

Since taylor ham egg and cheese is not available in montana and they've never heard of a hard roll i tend to eat one 3 times a week while I'm here and fredon deli has the best in the county. The rest of the food is pretty darn good also.“

Tasty, well cooked, always hot always ready for pick up. We never ate at the restaurant because we live right up the street, but I highly recommend this takeout.“
