Just tell him what types of flavors, etc. you like, and he’ll whip up an incredible custom surprise drink! Everyone who works there are so friendly, and they make you feel extremely welcomed. “My husband and I stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to eat that had an outdoor area( so glad we did) Once there ,we reviewed the menu , I explained to our waiter Cody that I am a pescatarian. He immediately recommended a few dishes that were not on the menu. I decided to go with one of his recommendation, the blackened shrimp tacos. They were delicious!! My husband had the blackened California wrap, which he raved about. Our waiter Cody even took the time to give us a bit of
history of the restaurant. If you are ever in the Denville area looking for a place to eat, do yourself a favor and check this place out! Make sure you ask for Cody to be your waiter!“

“It was ok, service wasn't the greatest and some of our food was overcooked. Pancakes are still amazing but waffles were off. Only reason there's 3 instead of four stars is because usually ihop does better, so comparing past experiences with this one it was all around 3 ?“

“My favorite place to stop at on the lake for an ice-cream. We usually paddle up to the docks on our SUPs (stand up paddleboard). Grab a cone of real (Jefferson Dairy I believe) ice-cream and then back on the lack for some awesome paddling.
Highly recommended for a quick bite, all kinds of tchotchkes, signs, toys, games and a bunch of other stuff that I believe are locally made. It's a must visit, especially for those that want to revisit simpler times.“

His empanada's are unique and delicious, soups are all so hearty and tasty, oh and the tuna salad is the best I have found! “My girlfriend and I came to pavesi last night and the entire experience was out of this world. From the immediate attention of our server Seth, to the amazing food Chef Sam made to the atmosphere. To start the food is out of this world, there are few restaurants who can faithfully say they serve fresh Italian cuisine on the daily but let me tell you this place IS one of the few. The similarities of chef sam’s dishes to the dishes I have eaten in Italy are uncanny. With every bite was a blast back to sitting in Tuscany or Rome eating true Italian cuisine. The entire staff was beyond welcoming and super tentative at making sure we had a great experience. You know a restaurant is quality when the chef is making rounds at the tables personally asking how your experience was and how the food taste. He truly cares about his perfection and it shows not only in the amazing taste but the attention to detail and making sure you are enjoying yourselfs. I am Not one to ever leave a review on a website but for this restaurant I will twice on Sunday, the chef made my girlfriend and I feel like we were celebrities, a franky Sinatra if you will based off the amazing food and ambiance. ALL AROUND 10/10. OH it’s a BYOB as well to make it even better. There’s a quality wine store 2 doors down so don’t sweat it if you forgot. highly recommend.“

The Mozzarella Carrozza appetizer is uniquely served with piccata sauce that is fantastic. The meatballs are top notch as is their sauce. Service is professional and attentive. They care that each diner is pleased. Note: it's basically cash only (venmo ok) but it's worth it.“

“I specifically wanted their cavatelli and broccoli with grilled chicken, so 3 people ordered take out. in the past I have had this dish several times and it was delish. - on May 6, 2023 i called an order in for pick up. they said 30 minutes, we were there on time and headed to a friends house literally 5 minutes from the restaurant. they had an affair in the place of maybe 40-50 people which was winding down our order: - cavatelli and broccoli and grilled chicken - chicken ceasar wrap with mozzarella and spinach - jersey burger deluxe - 2 rice ball appy - 1 small beef barley soup - 1 order fries -Let's start with the burger, it was good, ordinary but the French fries were limp and cold. - chicken ceasar wrap was horrible. the chicken was processed food not fresh, it had a vinaigrette taste, and it was cold, which in turn did not wilt the fresh very large spinach leaves nor soften the mozzarella. - cavatelli and broccoli with grilled chicken was the absolute worse food I have ever had. it was flooded with oil, very large chunks of garlic and the same disgusting cold processed chicken that they used in the wrap. the broccoli wasn't cooked at all, the entire dish was cold and inedible. went straight to the garbage. - rice balls tasted processed not freshly made and had some kind of coating on the outside which cracked when we attempted to eat them, plus they were not good at all. - side order of fries were the size of a small fry from McDonald's, were limp and cold. - beef barley soup had chunks of beef but very little barley, tasted very ordinary our total was a little over $100.00 with a tip. we will never be back to this place. such a shame they went downhill. we used to love going there. in today's climate you would think a restaurant would do everything to keep customers.“

It was a warm summer evening, the kind that felt like a gift after days of relentless heat. The lake shimmered with an almost otherworldly magic, nature whispering secrets in the rustling leaves. Live music floated through the air, mixing with the laughter of those around us, creating a symphony of pure joy. We sank into the moment, letting the twilight wash over us, sharing the sunset and the comfort of old friends, as if time itself had decided to linger a little longer with us.

“Went to The Minuteman on Sunday just before closing. This is relevant because they sell out of menu specials and staples, like racks of ribs and brisket. I had the pork half rack of ribs, fries, cornbread, and hushpuppies. Ribs were awesome. We got the last 4 racks available, and we were unable to try several other specials due to them being sold out. We sat at the well stocked whiskey/bourbon bar, and the selection is excellent. Ribs were cooked just right with an excellent peppery flavor dry rub. The in-house hot barbecue sauce is a rib topper must! Cornbread was very good, moist, and enough for all 4 of us. In fact, all of the sides were enough to split 4 ways, good portions. Rating is really 4.5, but I'm reserving until I have the brisket, brisket chili, and okra specials. I don't think I'll be disappointed since they sell out so quickly. If you love barbecue, this is a must visit!“
