We ordered the thanksgiving family meal for friends-giving last weekend. Outstanding! So much turkey. Best apple pie I’ve ever had. Sweet potato was delicious!

Finally got a chance to go to Carved. The Stirling Dip and Scarface sandwiches were outstanding. So flavorful and the bread was perfect on both. My husband who always leaves a little left over of the au jus when he gets a sandwich like this did not leave one drop and probably would have had more if he could. I loved the coleslaw and cucumber salad. Service was great. Very nice place.
We definitely need to go back and try some more. So many options including family dinners and a Thanksgiving menu. The individual pies, cookies, and other baked goods look so good too. Keeping my eye open for the next time they have pea soup.
Thanks again! Everything was great!

This restaurant is such a gem! I had the French dip sandwich. The bread was delicious; the meat was so tender and flavorful, large portions!

Enjoyed talking to the owners, very welcoming. I will definitely be back. Wishing them all the best!

Tried this place with high hopes for a great sandwich. While waiting, I asked the person behind the counter if she thought their prices were a bit steep ($18) for a roast beef sandwich. She replied that the Stirling Hotel gets that for a hamburger. Ok, I ordered the Roast beef sandwich. What I received was obviously reheated RB from the day before on nothing more than a round kaiser roll. If they continue to serve this type of food at this price point Carved will be no more. Cut your prices and step up your product.

This place is incredible. The sandwiches are on another level. They make everything themselves, including the rolls, roasted meats, sides etc.

This time we had "The Nic" and "The Patriot".

The Nic - shaved slow roasted pork dipped in their amazing pork jus, shaved grana padano cheese, garlic sauteed broccoli rabe, and roasted red peppers served on a homemade baguette. This sandwich takes your taste buds to the next level. First off, it blows my mind how tender the pork is, I would love to know how to make it like this! The flavors from the Pork contrast the broccoli rabe and the grana padano cheese so perfectly. The baguette is light, crispy on the outside and soft inside. The roasted red pepper add just a little sweet to the savory rich bite. Well done!

Carved in Stirling, NJ, was a delightful find for lunch! The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Their sandwiches are crafted with love and attention to detail.

My brother and I indulged in The Patriot and The Stirling Dip, both of which were exceptional. The Patriot's tender roast beef, sharp cheddar, and creamy horseradish were a winning combination, while The Stirling Dip's melted provolone and flavorful au jus were a savory delight.

Even as a non-red meat enthusiast, I was thoroughly impressed. I requested the roast beef to be dipped in the au jus. The slow-cooked beef was perfectly tender, juicy, and free of excess fat. The soft bread complemented the flavors beautifully. Without a doubt, it was a 10/10 experience!

If you're seeking a high-quality sandwich made with fresh ingredients and genuine care, Carved in Stirling is a must-visit. This hidden gem will not disappoint!!

This place is astonishing. Every time we get food, it turns out to be off the boards great. The heart of the menu is the superb sandwiches. We are working our way through the menu, and they are all nearly works of art. Every sandwich comes with a small side. Today it was The Stirling Dip and The Nic, named after one of the partners. The Stirling Dip was a French dip par excellence. The Nic is roast pork, broccoli rabe, and roasted red peppers. Nic is often behind the counter, but she also bakes all the bread, makes all the croutons for the Caesar salad, and bakes the delicious desserts that are off menu. We had the enormous Caesar Salad which comes with chicken, as well.In the past we have had The Big Thanks, because we love Thanksgiving, and it is like a delicious day-after leftover sandwich. We also had The Sinatra, well, because it's named after Frankie. When you go to a place that features a Mission Statement, you know they are serious. Prices are not cheap, but portions are immense, and the value is off the wall. Yesterday one of our sons had The Scarface ( a brilliant Cuban sandwich) and he said he was still full when he woke up the next morning.

Vegetarian options: The options are the Garden State, hold the goat cheese, and the stuffed pepper, off the menus during summer hours/schedule

We stopped here for lunch on our way through town and the sandwiches were delicious! Highly recommend the Dip and the Nic. Huge portions and great flavors. Not really anywhere to sit expect a few tables in the back parking lot or a picnic table in the park across the street.

Great new sandwich place located across from the Stirling train station. It is on the expensive side but you get what you pay for and they clearly have high standards for each ingredient. I had the Balboa sandwich which is their rotisserie chicken with pesto and cheese. Really enjoyed it and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. There isn’t any seating so it’s takeout only. I want to come on the weekend to try the porchetta.

We just ordered a variety of sandwiches from Carved and they were all phenomenal! Everything you could ever want from a sandwich place. Delicious signature sandwiches, great bread, and absolutely loaded with meat. The staff was so nice and the place is clean. A true gourmet sandwich shop that is completely worth it. We definitely will be ordering again.
