“#50 of 100A complete surprise to find this little gem in the heart of Metuchen. This female owned local smoothie and acai shop was a perfect find for us.We tried the wellness shot " healer" with turmeric, lemon and ginger that was served fast in a little plastic container for $4.Wait times were short even though had other customers waiting.The owner' s mom rang us up, gave us a little history of their start and told us of the history of being 100% vegan for you health conscious folks out there.Absolutely would come back for their protein smoothies that would be great after a run or workout. Plenty of spaces to sit inside or outside when warmer .Return : definitely“

“Very happy we found this place! The ambience is great for brunch with friends or partner and it has decent seating. We ordered the avocado smoothie and Vietnamese frappe which were both good, but the best was the Vietnamese pastry with chicken. It was so good that we ordered four and took some to go (for a party of two!) lol.“

“This is one of our go-to spots for takeout! We love everything on the menu. We order from here a few times a month and always get it when we are hosting visitors. The cheese chutney sandwich is incredible. I love the rose lassi- such a unique flavor and pairs perfectly with spicy dishes. Definitely a must-try!“

“I love me a good AÇAI bowl and this place is really nailing it. Really friendly service, clean accessible location with parking, high tech seamless checkout, interesting menu. Now to the bowl. Their granola branded as SoulNola is really another level of deliciousness. It has a chewy sweet almost molasses like quality that’s awesome. Açaí was perfect texture and taste and all the right ratios of fruits added. A must try.“

“My wife and I have come to fresh tiki bar several times now. I have had their soft serve vanilla which is out of this world. As well as their Italian cookie which if you like Italian rainbow cookies you owe it to yourself to try at least once. The place is fairly small inside but it does have outdoor seating. The menu is a good size for an ice cream place, they don't have 5 million flavors but when the number gets that high they often get real weird. The fun flavors they do have seam limited and on a rotation, but I think this allows them to provide a higher quality product from what I've had. I'm fairly certain this is a husband and wife team and I have only dealt with the wife, but she is always very friendly and has a general chipper demeanor.This is a great place for a small date night treat or to take the kids and get a little ice cream.“

“Food that's extremely healthy and nutritious for you body just sits different! Tyree's Table is full of so many options from sandwiches, wraps and specialty toasts which are a MUST-HAVE! The various toasts are created on in-house-made sourdough with all the right cultures for a healthy gut! I honestly don't have a cold-pressed juice flavor that I don't like but the Sweet Victory might be my favorite. The environment of the store is so motivating and filled with truth, transparency and transformation as it pertains to healthy eating and self-care.And how could I forget to mention?! NFL Special Teams Legend, David Tyree has actually been pesent at the store many times I've visited! I like to think I'm a regular even though I drive over all the way from Newark! ?“

“As my first time at the store I was impressed with the service. Both associates were very attentive, quick and efficient with my order. I got the 8th Ave Acai Bowl with kiwi added to it. That bowl stood no chance against my spoon and stomach combo. Definitely will be looking for the local one in my area as I'm currently traveling out of state.“

Food comes out fast and their delivery prep through Ubereats is very good as nothing is ever spilledParking: Parking is a bit tough as it is on a very busy street. If you go around the block towards supremo supermarket you’ll be able to find a wider variety of parking.“

“I had a really great experience visiting Egypt Oasis today with my two children. The staff was so friendly and attentive. And the owner Mo introduced himself and was clearly passionate about his business. I was waiting on by Ella and she spent the time talking to my son about his sports. The business is very clean and they have so many selections. We all had the rolled ice cream but I noticed people in the store getting boba tea. There is much variety to choose from in a really cool atmosphere with cards at the tables. We will definitely be back!!“

“Tried this place for the first time today and absoultely love it. I got the Tumeric Chickpea salad with multi grain bread and pina colada energy bites. Both were amazing. Give them a try. Priced better than local competitors. This will be my new go to spot. They have vegan options to accomadate my diet and sell prepackaged meal, muffins, cookies, and more. Vegan amd gluten free menus available along with standard menu items.Must try.“

“Always a pleasant time! I have been in this location several times, and always have fun with the kids and manager working there. Not sure why a few people here have complaints, I guess they don't remember their first jobs when they were younger? Perhaps they just grew up spoiled and didn't need to learn the valuable lessons one gets from putting in hard work and dealing with a not-always-friendly public? Teens are nervous when they are in the process of learning a new job, and should be given encouragement and support. New Prov team, you rock!“

“A very cozy boba cafe, with delicious drinks and treats! There's always adorable & pretty paintings chibi characters on the glass and inside too. The texture of the tapioca is always perfect, the flavors are all amazing, & the texture of the tea is super satisfying. Everything is a 10/10 and the drinks are affordable.“

“This place is so welcoming! Very energizing with a refreshing atmosphere that really makes you pumped to get your protein in and then go back after your next workout! If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Rudolpho is so kind and genuine and informative, we had such a down to earth conversation and I’m grateful for that! The menu is absolutely exquisite with such a variety and is shockingly still adding new items!! I just moved nearby from Tennessee, I followed them on instagram after seeing an ad (@pride.protein) and they thanked me with a 20% off coupon, and even stayed open a little extra so I could make it. “I wish I went here sooner. I love everything about this place. There’s plenty of food options. They have a sandwich and wrap station , taco station , pizza station , a fresh salad and bowl station and fruits and desserts. There’s plenty of chips and drinks to choose from. This is a great lunch spot. I had a “Livingston” pizza which had bacon, pineapple , and Gorgonzola cheese and it was real delicious. I also tried an “Essex” sandwich which was chicken cutlet , spicy ranch and tomato on Focaccia bread toasted nicely in the oven. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating. Very friendlyHelpful people working. I will be back for sure to try many more items.“

“Great spot to grab a smoothie, juice, or acai bowl relatively quicky. They seem to use all fresh, whole ingredients as well. Have never had an issue or a complaint at any jungle juice I've been to - can easily customize your order, but be careful of the charges.“

“I came into this location for lunch Rita was the person who took my order,she explained to me what was my options for a vegan wrap,I had the hummus (no cheese/dressing)she suggested another dressing,plant base protein roasted pepper/onions,I observed her not only sanitizing the cutting board and knife before wrapping my order...for this am truly appreciative,I had the acai berry smoothie rita suggested to add ginger wow wow wow so delicious.Vegetarian options: Any food can be taylor to vegan with plant base protein“

“Every single time I have ordered from here, it is always correct and as delicious as the first time. My go-to drink is usually the fruit smoothies - Mango Magic is my favorite. However, I've switched it up with other smoothies on the menu, too.I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Ranch and Hot sauce on the side (to avoid a soggy wrap and I can proportion how much sauce I want in it). In the picture, it's the Acai Berry Boost smoothie.I don't live by and have never gone to this location. My brother-in-law helps pick up my order whenever he has a smoothie craving and I always know what to get. I appreciate how the order is always fresh, and smoothies are always delicious.One day, I'll swing by here. Until then, thank you.“

“Had this delivered to work at my coworker's suggestion. It arrived on schedule and our three orders were packed neatly. There are tons of vegan/vegetarian options on this menu! I had the vegan Nashville hot chicken, add red onion and drizzled onion, on a whole wheat wrap. It was satisfying but not too heavy. The sauce has a nice spice to it. My friends also loved their buffalo poppers, falafel salad, and zucchini sticks.“
