Every time I go to Borgis I have an excellent dinner and a wonderful time. Dino is an extraordinary chef and he always make sure to stop by to say hello to his customers. The view from the outside is amazing at sunset and the music is always good. The food is so good that I make sure to stop by before he closes for the season to stock up on his meatballs, so that I have them in the freezer throughout the winter !

Found a hidden gem, very interesting cozy restaurant by pure luck! Thank you Dino and Aileen for making us feel like home with delicious home cooking! The bread with home made pesto sauce, fresh salad and main dishes were all fabulous! Generations down pound cake was extra special! Greatly appreciate the memorable dining experience tonight! We will be back for sure when the weather gets warmer.

Our new favorite restaurant! We're in Cape May, which of course has lots of great restaurants, but we drive up to Stone Harbor just to go to Borghi's. Great menu, delicious food, very friendly service, we love this place! It's small and the ambiance is simple, but the outdoor seating is nice in season. Reasonable prices and it's BYOB, which we prefer. Also -- get the pound cake, it's wonderful (and serves at least 2 people, maybe even 3 or 4 -- delish!)

We just spent the week in Avalon and had such an amazing experience we ended up going to Borgi’s twice. The food was fresh and full of flavor. The menu has a great combination of different dishes and everything was terrific. The staff was so friendly and added to the evening. Dino the owner loves what he does and it is evident with his food. He was so cool and when he found out we were coming back a few days later he made a special dessert for my son. Looking forward to returning next season.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp which leads right to the front door.

Visited in June dinner was Fabulous Dino and staff very friendly food wonderful, reserved a table 9/14/23 39 year anniversary my husband and i ran into a horrific tragic accident on parkway south i called from car to say we were running late , upon our arrival was greeted by a women who was a bit rude about us being late and informed us we no longer could have our table after much hassle from her Dino stepped in and we had our table, the night was to say not so happy ,after that with being rushed to eat and tears Dino informed us no one else would be taking over the table, an hour and 20 minute ride down for a happy celebration didn't turn out to be so Special we ended up taking main meal with us, All aside Food was Fabulous

Absolutely wonderful! We had perfectly broiled bacon wrapped scallops and 3 giant tender meatballs with delicious red sauce for starters. After a few bites of our entrees, served piping hot, we had to wrap it up. The chicken parm was tender and moist and full of flavor as well as steak tidbits marinated and oh so tender served atop a heaping serving of cheddar mashed....no room for dessert but we'll definitely eat here again and will recommend to anyone visiting this area. Almost forgot...the Chef/Owner Dino , such a pleasure to meet!

We placed a large take out order for my mom’s 80th birthday celebration. Dino never disappoints. Service is always terrific as is the food. Everything was delicious and the pound cake is worth every calorie! Thank you for accommodating our large take out order on a busy night!

We came for a relaxing brunch before hitting the road back home. Unfortunately, the wait time for the food was close to an hour, which meant we’d be stuck in traffic coming home. Water was served in plastic bottles, and coffee in paper cups—so classy. Waffles came with corn syrup, not maple syrup. The roasted potatoes were very good. I gave two stars for the service primarily based on the wait, though the waitstaff could have been more proactive—offering a free bottle of water or something…

The food is amazing!!!!!Run, don't walk if you would like a delicious dinner. The warm bread and tasty dipping oil is just the start. I had the lobster ravioli that was wonderful, so much amazing flavor and a lot of TLC nestled in the sauce. It was well worth a dinner out.

The owner got us in last minute for a reservation on a Saturday night in July. The food was incredible. My husband had the sea bass which was a special. It was the best Seabass we have ever had. I had the beef tips, which were so tender and great with the mashed potatoes. My daughter loved them so much that she took my meal. The owner then surprised her with his homemade ice cream cake dessert which was incredible. He came out and talked to us and asked how dinner was, very personable. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow.. what a great spot.. we went at the last minute for dinner.. what a great find.. the service was very good, food outstanding and prices very fair for the shore.. will be going back again... oh it's a BYOB so bring your favorite beverage.
