The food was ok but the service absolutely horrible . Took 10 to 15 minutes just to get water for the table . Probably 20 minutes plus to put our order in . We were ready to walk out when they finally brought the food out .
We dined inside with a party of four. The waitress payed us no mind, catering to the table of 6 next to us. She kept asking did they need anything asked how was your food? She didn't come once ask us how our meal was or if we needed anything. When our meals came we had to ask her after just leaving our salad and soup dishes and the end of our table we had no room to eat. The sushi was ok...The main dishes were bland veggies were overcooked. It wasn't busy at all. It took 50 mins for our meals to get to us from the time we ordered. Other Sushi places the sushi comes out before the main course. We won't be returning

They made us feel like family from when we first called with some questions about hours, reservations, etc, UNTIL the second that we walked out the door after our delicious meal. They go out of their way to make your entire experience perfect. And we were lucky enough to be seated in time for sunset in their marina patio.

Great food and exceptionally kind service. They quickly got my food together for walk in take out and offered water during the wait. Would come back any day.

Lovely little Japanese play on the bayside of Stone Harbor's downtown area. We had steamed dumplings, miso soup, sushi, and Katsu and all were very tasty! We recommend and will return on our next trip to the area.

My family and I have made it a tradition to go to Water Lily the last several years when we visit Stone Harbor. The food is always delicious, it is clean and the people are very warm and welcoming.
We ate here several times this week - each time the food was fantastic (fresh, tasty), the staff were friendly and attentive, and we LOVED the bayside dining. Would highly recommend.

beautiful scenery and view, aesthetically the food was perfect, taste was bland and over priced for the quality of beef & seafood, waiter was uncomfortable and seemed annoyed.

quality sushi, reasonable prices for what you get, beautiful view out back!
Good food.
food is amazing , we love it here
This was my first time in Cape May and I will surely be coming back for this restaurant alone!! Firstly, the service was incredible. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and efficient. Our food came out relatively quick and was delicious. Being from New York, sushi is something I eat weekly so I consider myself a pretty good sushi critic. Water Lily is hands down one of the best, most authentic sushi places I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. The sunshine roll is a MUST if you love salmon and their dragon roll is phenomenal. The sushi was decadent, fresh, and not chewy at all. Very high quality ingredients for a reasonable price. If you're in the area, this is a must!
Not half bad for a cute small-ish stone harbor haunt. Nothing to write home about but it’s safe and accessible in a place where you might not otherwise be able to find this type of cuisine. Menu stand outs will be of course the sushi and Teriyaki. Sashimi and sushi combos of course always a hit.The “sushi sandwich” on the board outside is definitely a bit gimmicky.“Surprisingly good for a place that is itself out of its element”; said another diner. At least it’s near the ocean. Veggies could be fresher. Restaurant could work on sourcing. As with most places staff can be hard to find, so be patient with them.
