I thought the food was bad and the service was poor. Friday night. Busy after eating there I find this baffling. We had the chips and salsa to start. Fine. Nothing to write home about. I had the chicken tacos. Fair to middling. My wife had the grain bowl. It was very citrusy but also very bland. When I ordered my tacos the server asked if I wanted the rice and beans as a side. I took this to mean that there were various sides that came with my meal. Ha. This was not true. This is what they call in the business an up sell. The rice and beans were not good. The rice was chewy. The beans tasted of paprika and nothing else. We ordered two Cokes at the start of the meal. They never materialized. When I asked for the check I told a different server "We ordered Cokes but they never arrived I just want to make sure they're not on the bill." She says "okay I'll comp them". I wanted to say, "No, comping implies we are getting something for free. We are getting nothing and paying nothing". But I had no interest in starting in with this perfectly nice girl for no reason. Oh, and we asked for more salsa and they charged us $2. For a saucer of salsa. Not a bowl. A saucer. Have you ever paid for more salsa when you get chips and salsa?

The food isn't bad but it's underwhelming, definitely did not like it enough to return. We started with the guac and salsa, both were fresh but very bland. Asked for "hot" salsa and it was also bland, no spice whatsoever. We had the carnitas tacos and a bowl both were just okay, again not much flavor. Service was good. Decor and ambiance is cute and inviting.

Ramon & Ana were amazing. Greeted us from the get go and made sure we were taken care of with our drinks and food. Would come back again ?

I was hesitant to go here due to the mixed nature of the reviews.Well it turned out to be good. I went for a weekday lunch. I had the carnitas tacos. They were very good and had a definite bbq flavor to them. I also had two margaritas which were good and not that strong ( which was for the best). Followed up with churros which I enjoyed.Service was quick. Two criticisms: the chairs are uncomfortable and seem like pool chairs. An upgrade is called for. Two: They charge 3% for using a credit card. I had the cash and paid cash but I don't like that. I had intended to go to Fiorinos but saw the 3% add on when I started to walk in and walked out. Too expensive for cash. Look raise your prices 3% if the credit card fees are hitting you too hard.

Good Mexican food, small dining area, full bar (?) on a side street in Summit. Family went here expecting a tacoria style spot but it's a sit down, full serve and full bar. Did I mention they have a bar which in Summit is a premium. Place is small but it makes it fun. During the warmer months they open up their garage style windows/wall which I am sure adds to the charm. Oh and the food is good. I really liked their carnitas (smoked) however next time I would opt for their CrunchWrap (crunchy taco within a burrito) as it seemed less messy and has more flavor. Their prices were really reasonable and the service was great. Bar area had like 10 seats, very casual with a tv. They do make a decent spicy margarita. The have really good happy hour prices and deals. Parking is in a large lot next door. ENJOY!

Horrible place, do not recommend. We went in and the table was sticky and there was oil spilled all over the seats. We then ask if they could clean it, and all they did was run a paper towel over the area. We had to ask them three times to clean, and it was still absolutely disgusting. The food was terrible too, and there was absolutely no flavor. There were almost no spices, and it made me nauseated. However, the main problem was how disgusting this place was. I left as fast as I could to get out of that filth.Vegetarian options: Barely any vegetarian options.

A casual, no-frills spot in downtown Summit that serves a simple menu of great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. So happy to have this spot in town.

Ordered takeout. My food had a weird smell served cold. I did take 20mins to pickup but it wasn't even luke warm.im guessing it was not exactly fresh wen served, and shrimp was too heavily seasoned. Pretty pricey and disappointing. Nice looking place though.

We had our team holiday lunch here. Food is fresh, tasty, not spectacular. Heard fish tacos were good, but didn’t get to try them. Service is a bit slow, but we were a large group of 18 for lunch (although called 2 days ahead). The dining room is small and the bad part is when the front door opened - a blast of cold are came right in and chilled us greatly, making for uncomfortable experience.

Disappointing Experience: The food lacked freshness and seemed pre-made, bordering on stale. The guacamole was cold, the shrimp taco lukewarm, and the smoked cauliflower cold and extremely dry, not sure when was it originally smoked? It was our first visit, and we're puzzled how a restaurant in downtown Summit can thrive while serving stale and cold dishes. Shouldn't patrons expect made-to-order freshness?

Very good tacos and creative! Love that they come on corn tortillas which is authentic. Great margaritas too. My only recommendations to make it 5 star is 1) add more lime and salt to pico de gallo. Think the pico from No.1 tacos in the city. 2) get a low key chill vibe dj or place some nice vibe music Thursday -Saturday. There will probably be a line out the door if that happened and 3) add grilled fish option to the menu.

Weekday night dinner experience. Was pretty empty and was seated promptly.. Coming to food, it's not up to par, lacks quality and pretty disappointing. The cocktails, the holiday themed margarita recommended by server was very bad and ended up laving. Cheese quesadilla for kids was loaded with extra cheese and very greasy. The shrimp tacos were also seasoned with some rub, which made it unappetizing. Bowl was also underwhelming. That's the reason for one star. Lot of room for improvement.

I really like the vibe inside and the fact that they have a bar. I believe they share a kitchen with Summit House and are part of the same restaurant group/ownership. I have enjoyed the food I have ordered from here. I have ordered takeout a few times and the staff have been curt and unfriendly. It was as if I was an annoyance on their day. I looked at my receipt and realized I was charged a 12% "Service Take Out Fee" - which, for my $13 bowl, was only $1.56, but I was still shocked to see this. (Yes, I paid cash.) It is a deterrent to come back and spend more $ for a party or larger group.
