I was delighted the other day when I popped into the playa bowl located in Summit NJ.
First of all the music was fantastic but the second I open the front door,I was greeted with a big beautiful smile accompanied with “how are you doing today, ma’am?”
Very sincere very authentic.
I had to ask the gal her name and I knew in an instant she must’ve been a manager.
Just the way she was having full control .
Her name is Iwlly.
What a lovely person.
She also had a young man working with her by the name of Dylan. I can’t say enough nice things about him as well.
I had a bit of a difficult order, but the both of them were very confident and assured me they had it down to a science.
Let me say my order was to perfection!!!!!!!!!
I love all of the Playa bowl shops, but this one takes the cake. It’s just so organized and so friendly and they’re never cheap or stingy with their toppings either.
I mean, let’s face it. Everything‘s gone up and it’s very expensive so it’s nice to treat yourself and when you pay extra for toppings, you don’t wanna be slighted and this summit shop does not slight you in the least.

Iwlly is the absolute BEST at this establishment. Everytime I go and she’s in, my experience is always pleasant. The other workers are also so very sweet. All in all, there’s never a dull moment when I go to this place. Every order I got was always refreshing and well prepared. From the juices to smoothies and bowls, you can’t go wrong. I literally travel 20 minutes to go to this specific Playa bowls. The lovely staff there keeps me going back. ?

As a frequent buyer for playa bowls summit, this is the first time I walked out because i had to go back to work. I was displeased with their service today. To much talking among each other instead of attending to customers. That was not nice.

OMG!! $7.45 For a large Cold Brew Coffee!! I know every Playa Bowls is individually priced, but the Summit location is astronomical! The Watchung location is $5.50 for the same coffee! The owners/franchise should be ashamed for being so greedy! Never Again from Summit.
Dunkin Donuts are the same way with pricing but they are within $0.50 of each other not $2.00! Insane for a coffee!

Should come with an Explicit Warning.
Was here with my children here both under 10 years old and the music/DJ was very explicit. Multiple curse words were being blasted over the speaker system (M-Fer, F word, N word multiple times). Had that happened when we first walked in we would have just walked out, but we already paid and were waiting for our food.
No problem if this is meant to be a teen and older hang out. Didn’t know when we walked it is not family friendly.
