“Living with Celiac Disease, Graves' Disease, and post-Lyme has already made my diet extremely restrictive. This year, despite the added challenges, I made the difficult decision to return to vegetarianism - I simply couldn't reconcile the guilt of eating animal proteins while my health demanded an even more limited way of eating. Cooking at home is manageable, but ordering takeout has been tough: truly gluten-free and vegetarian options are rare. That's why I'm so grateful for Living on the Veg. Their food isn't just safe and accommodating - it's genuinely delicious. As someone who leans toward vegan eating and avoids most factory dairy when I can, I especially appreciate their plant-based options. The vegan potato salad is outstanding - you'd never guess it's dairy-free. And the chocolate peanut butter bites? Absolutely addictive. Thank you, Living on the Veg, for making restrictive eating feel like a treat instead of a compromise, on the days I'm too lazy to cook! P.S. My one wish: more gluten-free bread options, especially bagels and different types of sandwich bread beyond the classic white. That would make your amazing sandwiches even more irresistible!“

“Came to LBI for a wedding and found this awesome spot! The vibes are cozy especially on the rooftop, the toast is next-level, and the iced coffee is seriously the best on the island. We ended up coming back 3 days in a row after trying other options lol. Definitely my new go-to spot whenever I’m here!“

“My husband and I finally made it there this Saturday after saying we were going to for years. It was wonderful. I only wish we’d gone sooner. He had the Salted butter/brown sugar crepe and iced tea. I had the marmalade crepe and grand marnier. We both loved our selections and know which ones we’ll each be trying on our next visit. Crepes are prepared to order. Staff was friendly, and both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are cute. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!“

“I build houses on the island and just brought my wife and kids down for the summer, I was so happy to revisit the new playa bowls location. I came in around closing, which I felt bad for but the employees and staff were very friendly and accommodating. I got a coco power bowl for me, a custom acai bowl for my wife and a strawberry banana smoothie for each one of my kids. My family as a whole was happy to be back eating from our new favorite spot in beach haven. My daughter was already asking to come back again tomorrow lol“

“Have tried a few coffee places in town and to date this was my favorite, went with a boring no flavor iced latte but on this warm day it really hit the spot. Coffee was smooth and refreshing, service was great and there was little to no wait. I'm coming back for another cup tomorrow before we leave!“
