Great food, the cook deserves a medal. Reasonable prices (nothing is cheap any more). Waitress was personable, fast and a delight to talk to. We met a number of other patrons (mostly older gentleman) that we enjoyed chatting with after eating our meal (mine was the plain skillet, which was anything than plain). My wife had grits with her meal which is something of a rarity at most diners. And it was a 'real' New Jersey diner, nothing fancy, just everything good about...
This is a small, cute diner. We stopped in for a cup of coffee and dessert. On their menu, they advertise pie, cake, muffins, pastries, etc. All they had was pumpkin pie, no pastries, one and blueberry muffin so I ordered ice cream.
Lovely little diner, been a long day and was a welcome site as we were driving from visiting statue of liberty and heading to Zane Grey house in PA. I had the turkey dinner and portion was enough for 2 people in my opinion.
