“I had a pleasant experience at Great Wall Chinese Restaurant. The service was excellent, and the cashier was very kind and welcoming. However, I noticed that the General Chicken was slightly overcooked, which made it a bit tough, though the flavor was still decent. Overall, the service was great, but there's room for improvement with the food. I’d still consider returning for the friendly atmosphere.”

“I’m so pleased with my visit to Tokyo Mandarin. The miso soup and Lion King Maki Roll was delicious! The flavor, quality and quantity of the food was amazing and very well priced. My absolute favorite is the Margherita Flatbread and the swedesberry smoothie but I have loved literally everything I tried from here. My kids also love everything here and constantly ask to go to The Juice Pod- which is a win in my book. Honestly, the best addition to our area!”

“Stopped by the Swedesboro location for the first time today. I showed up 10 minutes after they opened and there were only a few cupcakes left. Basically sold out within 15 minutes of opening. That’s how you know they’re good! I got a Lucky Charm cupcake and a chocolate cupcake. But those weren’t all I went for… I got an assortment of 12 macarons. So far I have only tried 1- the blood orange. It was fantastic! The staff member working was very kind & helpful. I cannot wait to go back. If you are to go make sure you go early. Get there before they open or within a half hour of them opening. Their products go fast! It was well worth the trip. I look forward to visiting again soon!”

“My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit and have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Hens & Honey Shoppe for Swedesboro, our 136th town.

We had seen this place pop up on our social media feeds, and couldn't wait to try it when we came to town. (Check out their Instagram for great coffee pics and the funny Reels the crew makes.) Valerie & the H&H team exceeded expectations! First off, the shop itself is a work of art with lots of insta-photo-friendly decor.

The iced coffee flight is a must. It's what we came for. We got to try the Fall Special line up (Jack O, Pecan Lane, Flannel Jacket, and Harvest Moon).

It's not just a coffee shop though. The gourmet toasts they offer make for some of the most unique & delicious breakfast or brunch options I've seen. We tried the Smoked Salmon and Bourbon Sweet Honey toasts. WOW! Each of these were a party in our mouths. If we lived close enough, we'd come back more often to try all the toasts out!

The place gets busy, so you might have a wait, but it's WELL worth it.

Disclaimer: I'm writing this review almost a year after we first visited, and the shop has expanded to a larger space in the same plaza that looks just as cool. Can't wait to swing by again between visits to other towns our next time in Gloucester county! (As of Oct 2024, 243 Jersey towns visited, 321 to go!)”

“Haven't had a bad meal there yet and I've tried a bunch of dishes. Great thing about Rodes is if you want to casual bar meal they got you or you can go into the more upscale dining room and have that restaurante vibe.

“I didn’t want to be THAT customer that comes in immediately after the store opens, but I was pleasantly surprised to get amazing and positive service right at 10:02 AM. I was greeted by a really nice person by the name of Em, who took my order and seemed genuinely sweet. Her smile and positivity started off my day wonderfully and made me feel welcome!! She also made sure I got all the toppings I wanted on my sandwich!!
My mild italian sandwich was sliced perfectly and put on a freshly baked roll which was delicious!!
The environment when I sat down to eat was wonderful!! I am glad they had on morning sports talk, as that’s my go to in the morning!! I also loved the general atmosphere with the brick walls and pictures around me!!
I am definitely going to be back again!!!”
