Being a resident of Teaneck, I don’t know why I never tried one of these cakes before! Today is my birthday and my husband asked me what kind of cake I’d like. Well I’m so happy that I chose a mortgage Apple cake! How delicious! So moist, fresh, flavorful and not overwhelming sweet! It was actually perfect! The cream cheese icing is literally “the icing on the cake”! This will be my go to cake for any of my future cake needs! Soooo good ❤️

I had the pleasure of trying Mortgage Apple Cakes, and I can honestly say they are some of the best little cakes I’ve ever had! The apple cakes are so moist, flavorful, and perfectly spiced—you can really taste the freshness of the apples. The ones topped with cream were heavenly, rich yet not overpowering. Each bite felt homemade with love and quality ingredients.

Not only are the cakes delicious, but there’s something extra special knowing the story behind this business—it’s inspiring and makes every bite that much sweeter. Whether you’re treating yourself or sharing with others, these cakes are a must-try. Highly recommend!

I stopped by today, and I have to say this place is something truly special.
I had heard about this shop before—on TV, from friends, and even through their website—and it always sounded like a place worth checking out. But today was the first time I actually made it over in person, and I’m so glad I did.

Usually, when I think of baked goods, it’s hard to find something that’s both high quality and made with care. Too often, it feels like either the food is mass-produced, or the service doesn’t have that personal touch. I was wondering if this place could live up to all the hype.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and smiles—from Angela, the owner! Her recipes are creative, delicious, and crafted with love. Everything tasted like it had a story behind it. This isn’t just food—it’s an experience. And the fact that it’s kosher and available for shipping, corporate gifts, and even book orders makes it incredibly versatile.

By the time I left, I didn’t just walk away with amazing food; I walked away with a memory. Teaneck, New Jersey, has a gem that deserves to be on the map. Whether you’re looking for a special treat, a meaningful gift, or just want to support a truly inspiring local business, this is the place to go. I’ll absolutely be back—and I can’t wait to share this with others. Did I mention they have pumpkin spice in a few of their items all year round?!

I have been a customer of this place since 2019 - and I believe this is easily one of the top 10 best bakeries in NJ.
Furthermore, the story behind it is simply awe-inspiring & shows the determination of the incredible owner (& her family).
No wonder the products are SO DELICIOUS!
Although everything they have is great , my personal favorite is the Apple Rum Upside Down Cake ❗️

I absolutely love the cakes from Angela Logan's mortgage apple cake. The upside down rum cake is to die for. I've had it several times before and it never disappoints. I bought a small cake to bring to my coworkers who all fell in love with it as well.

Recently ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s Sweet 16, and they did not disappoint. She wanted three cakes (vanilla, chocolate, and the signature apple cake) designed to theme and this was perfection. I would have been happy enough because of how great they complemented the lavender butterfly theme, but they were so delicious there was almost nothing to take home! Definitely recommend!

I'm not really into desserts but baby when I say these are the best desserts I've ever had I am not lying! The apple cupcake was fresh and moist and you can taste the apples in it! It honestly made my heart sing. And the apple crumb cake is AMAZING! I see why these saved her home. If you are ever in Teaneck NJ please head over and try it. I promise you won't regret it.
