Main downside is it's a bit pricey. One breakfast, one coffee, and one pastry came to $33. If you're ready to splurge a little though, the quality is perfection. They have tables so you can dine in, and in the summer they have a sidewalk cafe option. They have a nice coffee machine, but I hate drinking out of paper cups so I don't go for that. Lots of vegetarian options, which is great.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options on addition to most the pastries. There is avocado toast, red pepper on ciabatta, eggs, mushroom panini, etc.

New management? While revisiting this establishment after a a few months , I noticed some changes that left me a bit disheartened. The new chairs, though economical, seemed generic, and the overall ambiance appeared somewhat uninviting not the way it used to be . The coffee experience was marred by a cup and sleeve that emitted a mildew odor. When I inquired about the altered chairs, the response lacked the expected warmth, and I suggested a more positive framing of wear and tear. The employees appeared fatigued, and the absence of a manager on-site was noticeable. Additionally, cardboard boxes repurposed to cover a window, facilitating the passage of food from the kitchen to guests, showcased a resourceful yet unconventional approach in the establishment's operational design.I do hope the new management takes these observations seriously as it would be a shame to watch this place go down..
I can live with not so fresh bagel( we were there today, sunday)...I can live with not very hot espresso drinks(latte and cappuccino)... however, bad customer service does not sit well with me, so I must give 3 stars today.Arrogant young lady at the counter, the way she tells you to look at the menu to figure out what they have that's not displayed, which you need a magnifying glass for to read. As she stands back with arms folded. We place the order.Asks me for my name, now, my name is kind of unusual, or rare to be fair. She doesn't ask me how to spell it, so she writes it as something else that sounds similar apparantly. We sit down, and another staff member is walking around calling out " Ronda, Ronda"Finally, after no one was claiming it, i said "Renata"? How ever the bagel was the wrong kind, so both of them give me the" face", why? because i wasn't responding to wrong name being called? Or because the bagel was wrong?then she calls out " Ronda " for our coffee drinks. I thanked her however she didn't even look up and grumbled something under her breath. As I sat and watched how they service customers, few orders were not taken correctly, or people not taken care of properly. For the prices they charge, the experience was not worth it, certainly not today it wasn't.

The food is delicious and artisinal and feels like clean and high quality ingredients. I travel quite far to treat myself to their products. The last time I was there I left my diamond ring at the sink and realized only after closing time. The following morning I reached them upon opening and they got back to me within 2 hours that my ring was found! Extraordinary customer service!
