Cafe Angelique in Tenafly is definitely worth the trip. Set inside a beautifully converted historic train station, the interior has so much character and charm and is easily the highlight of the experience. The food was decent and enjoyable, although the service was noticeably slow. Still, the unique setting and beautiful atmosphere make this a special spot to visit at least once and one we’d gladly return to.
My friend Lynn took me for lunch here and we sat outside and loved every minute of it! I had the chicken Caesar salad and Lynn had the salad with beets and avocado and falafel. Both were delicious!
Our server Eva was lovely and even their iced tea was great! Love this spot! Wish I lived closer!

Overall, everything about this brunch café was great. The food was delicious and well-prepared, and I really enjoyed the experience. The only downside was that it was quite noisy, so it was a bit hard to hear conversations. Still, the quality of the food definitely made it worth the visit!
