I had such a lovely afternoon at Cafe Angelique catching up with a good friend. We ended up spending hours talking, and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. I had the vegan salad with eggplant, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful and something I would definitely order again. I really enjoyed the Israeli-inspired food and the warm, inviting atmosphere. Such an enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely be back!
Cafe Angelique in Tenafly is definitely worth the trip. Set inside a beautifully converted historic train station, the interior has so much character and charm and is easily the highlight of the experience. The food was decent and enjoyable, although the service was noticeably slow. Still, the unique setting and beautiful atmosphere make this a special spot to visit at least once and one we’d gladly return to.
My friend Lynn took me for lunch here and we sat outside and loved every minute of it! I had the chicken Caesar salad and Lynn had the salad with beets and avocado and falafel. Both were delicious!
