A South Jersey gem, and one that I'll already looking forward to returning to. My wife had previously raved about how good the Coney Island Gargiulo's was and was eager to see if this Tinton Falls location held up. I'm happy to the you that we were not disappointed. My Gargiulo's salad was a great start (and I'm not even a salad lover), and my Rigatoni Bolognese was absolutely delicious. I probably don't have to mention that the pasta is homemade...
We had the most delicious and delightful lunch for Valentine's Day. David, our waiter, was cheerful and attentive. The food's presentation and flavor was exceptional (best ravioli ever, and was just the right amountl. Valet service was prompt and courteous. Highly recommend.
I've been to this restaurant a couple of times before and this time I think it was quite subpar. The service was extremely slow and the bus boys were continually trying to take food away before we were finished. The meatballs came lukewarm instead of hot and were decent but nothing special. My friend and I both ordered the pasta with chicken onions peas, etc in a creamy pink sauce. The chicken was diced, even minced, and also lukewarm. Admittedly from the waiter, kitchen...
