I had a really long day and actually wasn't feeling going put to dinner. Great experience, great staff, fantastic food. For us it was kid friendly and my children were becoming buddies with everyone. we will certainly be back with the whole family!
We ate at the bar - great service from Mel - the onion soup had a really nice presentation with a 'nest' of fried onions on top along with a yummy hamburger cooked exactly as I asked for it. There's new ownership (used to be Woody's) and the menu offerings seems to have a lot of carry over. However, one disappointment - the fries are NOT gluten free which is also happening in lots of places now. It's easy to make a substitute but sometimes you just want the fries!
This place is always good. Although ownership and the name changed, the old favorites and much of the staff remain. I'm never disappointed here.
