Will never go there again. Service and food were terrible. Stay away from the meatloaf!
When here earlier this evening for dinner with my parents. My father ordered buffalo chicken sliders, my mother ordered the meatloaf dinner, and I ordered some type of stuffed chicken that had some type of creamy sauce on it. Since I am a heart patient, I specified that I wanted the sauce on the side, rather than poured directly onto the chicken and I asked that there be broccoli substituted for the baked potato. Our waitress, Alyssa said “okay, no problem”. When our food came out, the sauce that I had requested to be on the side was poured all over the chicken and was even inside of it. As I was opening my mouth to remind Alyssa that I had specified for the sauce to be on the side and not right on the chicken, she cut me off and said “the cook said they have to put a little sauce on the chicken because that’s how they steam it. But I told him to just put a little bit on and there’s a little inside of it too”. So I said to her “So in other words, this sauce is all over my chicken when I asked for it to be on the side”. Alyssa said that that was the way it had to be, and I told her that I couldn’t eat it. She snapped back with a very nasty “well then why did you order it”? My mother chimed in with “well that’s why he asked for the sauce to be on the side and you didn’t say that the sauce had to be on it when he asked for it that way”. Alyssa then claimed that it was specified on the menu that this particular dish had to be cooked with the sauce directly on the chicken, to which my mother and I both replied “no it is nowhere on the menu”. So then Alyssa asked me in a very demeaning tone “OK so then what do you want”? She was throwing suggestions at me then asked me if I wanted a menu. I just asked for her to bring me the meatloaf with the gravy on the side. She said nothing and walked away. Alyssa brought my corrected meal out about 15 minutes later, slid it across the table and said absolutely nothing and walked away. Both my mother‘s meatloaf dinner as well as my own were completely inedible! The meatloaf itself was literally the consistency of canned dog food. It was basically liquid protein on a plate. Neither one of us could even eat it. Alyssa never once came back to our table to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything else, but automatically came over with take out boxes that we didn’t even ask for. We simply asked for the bill and want to pay. When we spoke to the manager who took our payment, we explained Both the quality of our food, as well as Alyssa’s rude, caustic, impatient, and completely unprofessional and inattentive attitude. The manager apologized, but only comped 1 of our 2 inedible meatloaf dinners. I could’ve gotten a better dinner from a hotdog stand.
Nice place to grab a bite to eat but was disappointed with breakfast. The items I ordered were stuffed French Toast that was made with regular bread not Challah or Texas Toast which all places I have been to use. Also ordered a side of sausage the links were a pathetic size and only have two cut in half seems to me to be a tiny portion. All and all probably won't be back for breakfast. Forgot to mention presentation was subpar in my opinion also.
Update: That is not Texas Toast and understood the order always been 2 links but to be honest the links are not what I remember when I go to diners being that tiny. All and all the owner can disagree with what I believe he was selling just look at Texas Toast size and the poor presentation and the white bread they used to pass off as Texas Toast.

I would like to start this review by stating that I’ve only left a negative review once in my entire life for a restaurant. I spent several years in the food and service industry and I know that a lot of complaints people have it’s usually just because they don’t know how it all works. But by god this was the absolute WORST breakfast I have ever paid for in my entire life. The chef in the kitchen has ZERO business serving the food he served today. A breakfast skillet. Something simple and very hard to mess up. Let’s start with appearance. Whatever cheap shredded cheese was used to make my plate hardened like plastic. The eggs underneath were browned and over cooked. The bell peppers mixed into the flavorless eggs were OLD. I’m very familiar with what happens to prepped peppers when they are left in a pan too long. I could taste the pepper juice that was oozing out of them. Absolutely disgusting. Now let’s move to the bottom of the dish. Home fries. Nice browned and crispy potatoes as a bed for the food above it? In your dreams. The potatoes were the most flavorless, wet, and undercooked things on the plate. They looked like they were sliced, boiled, strained and put on my plate. There is no way any of those potatoes touched a hot pan. Being that I don’t like to waste my money or food I ate what I could of the eggs but the rest of my plate definitely made its way to the trash in the kitchen. Another guest at our table had eggs Benedict with steak and that’s a whole different story. Both of the poached eggs were severely over cooked, they were essentially hard boiled. Zero run to the yolk. The steak was well done and had zero sear marks. How is that possible? How is it possible to have such a cooked piece of meat without a crust? Sous vide? If that’s the case you still need to make it look appetizing for your customer which generally involves a sear mark on the meat. Your Kitchen staff seems to be more than incompetent, failing on such simple breakfast staples should be unacceptable. This was my first and last time eating here, do yourself a favor and get yourself a chef that knows what they’re doing. Months of this garbage will surely be bad for business.
Aside from the food the service was excellent, I don’t seem to remember our waitresses name but she was attentive and kind. The actual atmosphere itself is better than most of the roadside diners we have in the surrounding areas. Definitely is apparent they are trying to stay modern. But the food was all crap. Sorry to be leaving this in the first place but I very rarely feel compelled to leave a review but it’s important the owner see this so they can improve.

Not really sure how they got 5 star reviews
We walked in on a Sunday morning from the hostess seating us to our waitress just a miserable atmosphere
Asked for a booth was told no there were a few empty
Waiter came to our table and we asked for a booth he told us “ go for it”
Food is crappy cold rubbery pancakes
Ordered white toast was given rye
I’m allergic to rye seeds
Coffee is cold
No spoons finally got one
It was a soup spoon 🤔 but a spoon nevertheless
Please hire some some servers with pleasant attitudes
No wonder it’s not a busy diner anymore
We came in pleasant and expect to be treated the same way
Save your money
Waiter was very good. Meat we ordered was dry.
