Went there today for lunch special as a senior early bird. Was some traffic. Got there at 3:03. She said she wouldn't serve me lunch menu. This would have been 3rd time in month visiting Koi. Once with 12 neighbors. Once my son did take out. Is it worth losing a customer for 3 minutes? Won't go back.
This review is based on my family members . Always consistent with the food quality , temperature order accuracy . Fast friendly service . Highly recommend .

My girlfriend and I ordered a California roll, shrimp tempora, tuna roll, and spicy crunchy tuna roll. At first we thought it was amazing but after we continued eating we came to the belief the cucumber was bad and it was literally jammed into every roll afterwards we both felt nauseous. I don't know if they use some off type of cucumber or maybe we just got a bad batch but what turned out great quickly went sour. Eat at your own risk.

Go here frequently when I visit my friend in Pine beach. Have had the hibachi which is out of this world and moderately priced. Love their sushi rolls - everything is very fresh! Have beautiful presentation on the specialty rolls-expensive but well worth it. Also tried the steak teriyaki and the coconut shrimp appetizer on my last visit. Had enough food to have two meals from it!! absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend going there if you love Japanese, Thai, sushi, and Japanese curries! You must try it if in the Toms River area!!
Vegetarian options: my friend who is vegan had more then enough dishes to choice from. in fact she had a hard time choosing!

Good food, plenty to eat. Service was very good, all around we had a good time.
Parking: Parking is right outside. The restaurant is located in a large shopping mall.

What a great place! Food was delicious service fantastic. Plenty of room, your not sitting on top of each other. My wife had a Flounder dish I had a sushi sashimi combo with a tuna roll. I was here three years ago and loved it and today was even better. Note: after we sat they realized they needed our spot for a reservation and asked us yo move. We gladly accommodated the request. After we moved a very sweet greeter brought us a $10.00 voucher. This gesture was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

So we went back today for dinner and brought my brother with us. The food and service was excellent as usual and the manager Nicole stoped by our table a couple times to check on us and to chat a bit. What a sweet lady with a totally customer focused personality. She is a true asset to Koi. She alone gets a five+ star rating
Today- again, Absolutely fantastic food and service. We have never had a bad meal or experience with the staff. Nicole the manager is warm and welcoming she makes you feel like family. She is a big part of why we go at least once a week. The place is very well demand extremely clean. Give it a try

I have gone to koi since they first open they make very good sushi, i am very fond of their hawaiian tiki poke bowl. The hibatchi is also pretty good. The restauraunt also has a small museum which is wierd but cool. Also before it was koi it was a buffet and i spilled hot soop there
Vegetarian options: I think vegitarians can eat fish and this is a sushi restaurant so they should be fine

Parking: Huge parking lot its next ro a home depot and supermarket (dont go there it sucks)
