Mahana Fresh, where have you been all my life?! As a delivery driver in the area trying to live my healthiest lifestyle possible, there's really no other option, virtually literally! I try not to get lunch here every day but in the end, they pull me back in. It's 'as far from fast food' fast food as you could possibly imagine whole clean food, simple choices, reasonable prices, friendly staff (Ally, Jordan, Gianna, and Kevin are my staples) and atmosphere. It's so tough getting enough protein as a road warrior - something most Americans severely lack in their diet), I'll never look at another Chipotle or bubbakoos again. Thank you thank you thank you. I just wish there was more I could do to promote the place. It says a lot eating something everyday and not getting bored. Make America fit again
Seriously what's in the noodles? I'm obsessed. And my kids actually order double broccoli. On purpose. And it's all gluten free. This place is magical.
The service was extremely friendly and helpful. We have never had Mahana before and it's a lot to choose from wraps, smoothies, bowls, different teas and snacks also you can grab some Merch! I ordered the bowl with double rice noodles as my base, broccoli, mushrooms, tofu, and teriyaki chicken. I choice two sauces because I didn't know what I'd like the citrus ginger and the creamy wasabi. Everything was fresh and delicious, so much food! They had a special the day we went $1 smoothie with purchase of a bowl I had the creamsicle and my husband had the green smoothie that he wasn't so fond of but mine was delightful.
First time there. Went with 4 of us. The food was OK at best. The steak was very very tough and dry. The smoothie was good. Prices were not bad considered it is healthier food but it just lacked taste without the use of the sauces. The service started off slow but got better. I ordered the key west chicken and it tasted like chicken. Kinda disappointed. Our wrap was about 95% rice and 5% chicken so it was not a great wrap.
Food tasted great and service was very nice. The place was basically empty when we visited for lunch on a weekday which was nice. Unfortunately their Ice-Tea machines were empty and no one was working to refill them.
We stopped here on our way back home—literally had zero expectations (first-timers!).
As a vegan, I got the Veggie Vacay Bowl, and my dad got the Spicy Ahi Aloha Bowl, which he really liked—and he’s a very picky eater 😅. He said his bowl was a 10/10, especially the Brussels sprouts, which were flavorful and nicely done.
As for my bowl, I wish the tofu wasn’t just plain, white, and tasteless. A marinade or maybe air-frying it for a crispy texture would’ve made a big difference. It definitely didn’t taste like “garlicky tofu” as described 😕. Same goes for the broccoli and mushrooms—just a bit bland.
There’s a sign outside the restaurant that says something like “best vegan options in the area,” so it would be great to see a wider variety of vegan proteins—not just tofu. Options like tempeh, seitan, or soy crumbles would be an awesome addition!
That said, the rice and sauce were nice. Portion sizes were decent, the staff was super friendly, and the place was clean!
Wow! Today was my first time eating Mahana Fresh! DELICIOUS! I created my own bowl, but I’m looking forward to trying more ! Honestly my new obsession !! Don’t hesitate just try it ! Healthy and delicious 🤤

Food is actually tasty. Being able to customize your own bowl is great, the portions are great and the girl who tended to me was actually kind.

Great food and vegan options
I probably would not drive out of my way to come here, but if it’s meal time and I am out and about, it has good tasty vegan options. They have grilled tofu plus several vegan vegetable sides that could all go on into a bowl or wrap (e.g. grilled string beans, sautéed mushrooms) They also have several vegan sauces/dressings, including a coconut, sweet potato dressing, which I put on my bowl. All the vegan stuff is very clearly marked. I was happy with the service. I noticed another review here on happy cow saying that everything was salty. Honestly, I do not think that this food is any saltier or oilier than comparable fast, casual restaurants such as moes, Panera, etc. if my kids were still young, then this would probably be a place that I would bring them to enjoy food. I’m the go.
Big bummer, first time, was really looking forward to it. Sweet potatoes not cooked through, noodles not cooked enough, beef was very chewy, creamy wasabi leaned more towards mayonaise, and the Mac n cheese was just noodles.
