just stopped by for an Italian sub which was almost $20 and was only ham and cheese literally nothing else. Bread was soggy and my fiancé had a chicken cutlet sub which had nerves going through it. Gross! NEVER AGAIN. Stay away. For $37 I can go to Joe Leones and get real Italian food. Absolutely inedible!!!! We threw the whole thing away

Just the absolute best at everything.. go in and talk to Sal and the rest of the staff.. order the sal special sandwich (chicken parm but on garlic bread with vodka sauce and pesto) it’s just beyond on this world.. from the cuts of meat to the freshly prepared pastas and sandwiches.. I’d go FAR out of my way for this quality food.

This place sucks…the only butcher in ocean county that charges to use a debit card…with no warning what so ever…that’s after I spend $ 129.10 for 4 pieces of filet mignon at $43.50 a pound…major rip off

We visit Seaside Heights several times a year and always vacation there in September. Friends from Pa. where we live found out about Mid Shore and told us. Best information to get is word of mouth. We checked them out and got fantastic hoagies for lunch at Barnegat Light house. I loved what I saw in the meat cases while we waited for our sandwiches so we went back the morning we were going home to buy steaks and fresh made mozzarella. All were fantastic. We cannot wait to go back. And by the way, everyone we dealt with there were very nice and helpful.

Hate leaving a bad review on a place of business, but it is necessary, considering.I asked for an Italian sandwich got home and ONLY got ham and cheese. Nothing else on it while it 20$ for just the ham and cheese. They were very rude when we went back for the lettuce, tomato, & onion and didn’t give it to us. If you want a place with nice staff I do not recommend going here

I recently visited Mid /Shore, and I love to patronize small business and i love the nice clean store1. Do they have beautiful meats custom cuts, yes! Do they make nice deli sandwiches absolutely. A must go on Fisher Blvd, The only downside is the cashier is a crab, and I wish the employees would have their hair tied back.
I'm VERY picky with chicken & this was one of the Best pre-made/pre-cooked chicken cutlets I've tried ?..seemed like they prepped the chicken very well by trimming & cleaning all fat off..

Went to Mid-Shore on a strong recommendation from a good friend. All I can say is that the attitude directed at me ensures that I will never return. Almost walked out but my son was with me and I didn't want to make a fuss. Other good butchers to choose from down the shore.
