My husband and I had one of the best meals out in a long time. From the moment you walk through the door you know you're in store for something special. The ambiance is outstanding and the service is amazing. The menu is top notch. The steaks are the best quality and cooked to perfection. Talk about a hidden gem!

Excellent. Our table was waiting for us. Our waiter was gracious and attentive. Explain any questions we had. Kept coming by and seeing if we were enjoying the food. Water glasses were getting low, he would fill them back up. We were not rushed. Food was outstanding. We will be going back. Thanks for the enjoyable evening.

Overall the food is really really good but it's very pricey IMO for a BYOB place. Biggest complaint though was that they do not serve any bread and they don't have any bread available even for an extra charge. This was bizarre because they serve whole cloves of roasted garlic with the steaks but no bread option on the menu. That was disappointing. Also it took them approximately 25 minutes to get everyone in our party a wine glass which was unacceptable. But overall I would go back but only with a small group.

Waitress and atmosphere were great and very much delightful, but am very frustrated over the fact that I spent $40 for a dry pork shop that was severely underseasoned. I feel bad for leaving such a poor review but the porkchop was very rough. The portion size was fine for this style of restaurant but as mentioned it was dry and bland in flavor.

This was our second visit to Rue 561 Bistro and we were just as happy as we were the first time. Everything is absolutely delicious, the waiter was attentive, and it's BYOB! I would recommend it a thousand times!

Came here for 1st time on recommendation from a friend about the steaks . We arrived on time but our friends were late . The place is small and elegant, waitress was Amazing . I got the Salmon , delish . Hubby got the porkchop ( he liked ) but I tried it and it was too thick for my liking . The wedge ( which was not a wedge ( a ball ) salad was very delicious. The Brussels were good . Our friends got ribeye & scallops . I tried scallops , was ok . The dessert was great as well as the flourless choc cake . It took them way too long to bring the dessert ( so our waitress comp it , the simple fact that we finished our cappuccinos without our dessert.
Always an amazing experience at Rue 561. If you’re looking for huge portions, bread on the table, & cheap food go to a chain restaurant. This place makes normal sized portions & high quality food in a lovely BYOB atmosphere with superb service. If you love good food & experience, you’ll see why it’s worth every penny. We are repeat visitors to Rue 561 Bistro and absolutely love everything about it. The setting is cozy and comfortable, the food is always well presented and delicious and the staff makes us feel so welcome. Being celiac, it is also a bonus that they have plenty of gluten free options that I can choose from. Their steaks are cooked to perfection and the service is fabulous. For a date night, special occasion with friends or if you're just craving a great steak or meal, don't hesitate to make this a top pick!

This was our first visit, will not be the last. We ordered the beets salad, octopus and chorizo, as starters and salmon, chicken and truffle Mac and cheese for mains. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent, even though it was a busy New Year's Eve. We met the owner and also Dave who were extremely welcoming. We will be back for sure - the food and service are impeccable.
